Hey its 2023 now and I still listen to this band. Crocrock all those years ago I fell in love with a band which is hard to do and this song was my morning banger for a long time. We miss you here.
I'm not a big fan of the generic sound but live they are killer!!!! I love their energy

It does sound a little like Karma, but inly the beginning riffs, as everythingelse is and sounds entirely different.. except mabye the drums, but i'd have to listen to both paying only close attention to the drums to be sure, and thats ot fun to do

That's why punk rock is one the only genres where the sound is constantly changing. "Hardcore" is just the heavier form of punk rock. Unfortunately, people have forgotten the meaning of punk rock, and instead of creating new music that sounds different, they want to create music that sounds the same as everyone else.

I love how EVERYONE says "that band sounds like this, like that", "that one sounds like every other band".... Are you guys REALLY that stupid? I mean... Think about it... With more and more bands being discovered each year, its hard as hell to sound totally different/unique(its actually impossible), we're not in the 80's where the metal genre started to REALLY become popular so that later some poeple pushed the limits even more and put some "new type of vocals"... If you want something that sounds unique, and that has NOTHING in common with ANY BAND AT ALL, well I'm soory to say that it is IMPOSSIBLE... Not only in the "metal part" of the music industry is it a problem... Its like this EVERY FUCKING WHERE... So pleas stop complaining, and listent to the lyrics, the instruments themselves, or whatever you want, but PLEASE stop complaining or gtfo of youtube, go live in a cave, and youll never hear bands that sound alike ever

Obscurum Kovers actually different there's different types of metal this is my opinion tho different screams sound different there's none that sound they same all sound distant there's also deathcore with is more heavy than there grunge such as (Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Alice in chains,) but now in days what's metal is parkway drive bury tommorow feed her to the sharks and many more but than there's fake "metal" such as black veil brides panic at disco and fall out boy witc isn't even metal but you can't tell the fans that

Even if a band is a bit generic it doesn't mean they're not good. I mean, everything in this song i've heard a hundred times before but I still love it. Some people just want some good tunes rather than concentrating on how original or complex you can make a song.

Pretty much everything in music has been done in some way before, so just about anything you hear is influenced directly by something, just because there songs don't have crazy complexity or some kind of djent shit doesn't mean its not good, music was made for enjoyment not a competition to see who could create the hardest song to play.

Just seen these guys for the first time live tonight in Kettering Ohio and they tore the place up....def. one of the best bands on the main stage tonight and def. looking forward to seeing them live again

I dig this, been jammin it since it came out. Who cares if people think its generic. Sounds like an excuse for you secretly like it but to be cool with yohr friends you gotta disrespect it. Respect all music for what it is not for whos playing it.
Everyone seems to be asking for technicality and stuff but i don't think those people understand OTB isn't trying to be like despised icon they are trying to be a hardcore bands and they're doing a great job at that since hardcore is more about the message of the song then the technicality
bummer their ep has only 2 songs. I was hoping for a few more.

Asking for an uplifting or "beautiful" melody from a heavy band is unfair. But since you ask, "Sleepless" on their Day of Mourning album. It's not a crazy guitar solo or anything like that, but it follows the criteria you were looking for.

calm down guys, Karma is an awesome song and this is very similar, therefore an awesome song. we now have two karmas therefore quadrupling the awesomeness of the original song. What I am trying to say is two is better than one.
