finally.. something different from this band instead of the same one note chugging songs. i have a feeling though this is the only song like this on the cd...
Best hardcore band of any type🤷♀️ they put together the best riffs and heavy choruses while most band just go all thru it without a noticable chorus in my opinion. But these guys literally make you feel powerful in a certain way. Such heavy music emotionally and literally. Glad I grew up seeing bands like this evolve and become my favorites
I really like the direction you guys are taking. You're maturing as a band and separating yourselves from everyone else. It's nice to see you making music you want to make. Ignore the people that are hating on you for changing. Keep up the excellent work!

Went from BVB and PTV to this is 1 minute and then I'll be on to classical......................... Ah my lullabies......... Mono puts me to sleep the guitar is like a nice bed to sleep on
I'm not that into The Somatic Defilement anymore and I can understand why a band would want to move away from that sound and vibe, but the direction they're going in now seems almost like a simplification of what they were doing before. I loved This Is Exile and A New Era of Corruption, and I loved the way that those albums were more technical and leaned more toward actual death metal and away from all the core stuff. And I was into the self titled record, but with this album it sounds like the band has stripped even more from their sound. I feel like so many of the old core bands are now just relying on djent guitar tones and riffs instead of technical and heavy songwriting.
I feel like it doesn't matter as long as they as a band like it. The fans liking it is just a plus. I seriously do not understand why people get so bent out of shape when a band isn't technical. Who cares? If it sounds good, it sounds good. Industrial Metal is proof of that.
Jake Moresea Well typically, when you build an entire fanbase on one sound and then spend the next two albums focusing on something different, some of those early fans tend to get upset. It would be as if an industrial band started playing technical death metal. The outcome would be the same, fans would be upset. It tends to happen a lot when bands change their sound or try to innovate but only end up lessening their original message. In this case, I think that Whitechapel just started out too young and weren't really set into a particular vibe or message and were only doing what they thought was cool at the time and not really thinking about their future or their overall message and decided later on that they wanted to do something different.
daydreamer92ify That wasn't my point. I was ranting about the whole "technical" thing. I think it's completely idiotic to disregard a band just because they aren't technical in their instrumentation. I know that changing genres can (and will) affect the older fans. Black Tide is a great example.
Jake Moresea Okay, but you see that's what I'm trying to tell you, that's not the reason I dislike the new album. I dislike the new album for many reasons, only one of them being that it isn't as technical as this is exile or new era of corruption. In my reply I was trying to explain that to you, that it wasn't the sole reason I disliked this, but you're just being fucking obtuse and idiotic and trying to turn this into an argument about fucking semantics, I'm telling you that it isn't the only reason, I don't just fucking disregard bands that aren't technical, I like plenty of non tech bands, what I was saying is that I dislike the fact that they went from one side of the spectrum to the other as far as I'm concerned, technical and intelligent metal to dumb, djent, gang vocal shit.
Basicially the whole Selftitled Album . Seeing from your Profile pic , you will like the newer stuff first cause its not as Death Metal Influenced as the old stuff . Otherwise This is Exile and The Darkest Day of Man are pretty good Songs . I, Dementia is also good . If you wanna listen to Whitechapels Pinnacle of Brutality , listen to the Somatic Defilement , Vicer Exiser in particular . Hope I could help ;)
The best Whitechapel lyrics of all time were wasted in a Chimaira song. Wasn't even the real original Chimaira either... But god damn it did those lyrics hit so fucking hard in Born in Blood. Always gives me chills.
You Tube owned by Google which is in bed with the Government wants you to be distracted with the soft suggestions to the side to blunt your mind. They fear the hard and brutal approach of true freedom and justice.
They always do that with recently released videos that don't have a lot of popularity, yet. I'm not sure why, maybe it's a tag issue and UA-cam is still searching for videos based on the tags the uploader has provided, and in the meantime it gives suggestions based on what's popular now, especially if it's related to music, even if the genres are polar opposites.
If only MTV still played music videos. Song and Video are a masterpiece. Even better live. They did a quadruple encore in the beer garden at shoreline when mayhem festival failed. most other bands bailed on the venue but Whitechapel was there for their fans. utmost respect
Damn, this song is more relevant than ever right now😂
Yeah, this song lyrically is like 2/3 years ahead of it's time, it's almost as if Phil predicted the way the US was gonna go.
Was then, but damn is it not even more relevant now.
Phil, and the band as a whole, have come out against antivax folks multiple times, just sayin' ...

@@tobitau89 You subscribe to John Oliver... Fix your mask and gtfo, soyboi.

Is there anybody who likes all their albums ?
Their self titled album was my favorite by far, still got love for this one too. Only liked a few songs from their earlier albums.
I like all albums^^
This is Exile is my favorite tho.
First 4 albums are pure gold, but Our Endless War is good too. I love The Saw Is The Law and Diggs Road!
DörteMaulwurf Mark of the blade is great too imo. I hope they try some new stuff on the new album
+Ass milk There is some experimentation, still heavy but a lot of grooves and plus clean singing, as in actual singing, on 2 of the songs.
+Ass milk Me!!!! all of them, i have the demos too
Idk why people bitch about not being able to understand the lyrics I easily understood every word in this song
I agree. Phil is a great pronouncer when it comes to harsh vocals!
DemiUrge _ Yeah I showed my friend who doesn't even listen to songs with harsh vocals and he could understand them.
I know how you feel
+_MetalGod_ thats because we're all familiar with the style, kind of like how when you get use to an accent.
Argos Morse yeah I agree with that but if someone who doesn't listen to death metal actually tried to understand this song they could
sooo I guess Im into deathcore now
Same 😂
+Satan all the same shit......we all worship the same god anyway....see you in hell my dark lord Satan
+Satan use me abuse me for I am your slave

+Agustin Rodriguez deathcore* go look them up on google
I love how when the music kicks in Phil goes from 'I don't wanna be here' to 'I'm here whether you like it or not'
One the most heaviest songs in the world, so many rage in this one, Phil is a beast
About a year ago I got into heavy metal and always drew the border by death metal and death core now I've officially broken the border cuz this bands is fucking amazing. \m/
Whitechapel has always been a badass band, but this album has brought them to a whole new level. Fucking powerful!
Holy fuck where have I been sleeping on this band??
Phil Bozeman just gets Music in a way a lot of people overlook. One of the better bands still around. Such a good album.
What? Lol. Phil just writes the lyrics...the rest of the band writes all of the instrumentals (the actual music).
@@Remmy0930that is in fact not true lol. He writes some riffs for each album
This joint claps, anyone from 2019 still listening
Fuck yeah, WC never gets old
2020 now
Because the year we're listening to this in is so important
Bradley Munn haha, calm down Bradley. Never said it had a significance. It is cool if people still listen years after a release though.
I love how Phil just looks back at the camera, when they start walking toward the stage at the beginning of the video, and you can just see it in his eyes:
"You see the shit I put up with, right?"
The intro to this is amazing. And then the song is amazing. And the outro. Fuck it the whole song is golden
Till this day, it still slaps
And now I'm officially a proud fan of Whitechapel!🤘🏻
This song is the national anthem of metal.
And should be U.S.A.'s anthem RN too!
I’m dying to say “Phil Bozeman is Chester Bennington’s Deathcore cousin” so bad but I think I might offend some ppl☹️
Fair comparison
That’s a fantastic observation
Look at the Phil Bozeman at beginning. He looks like nervous but his attitude is the real definition of the concentration.
Not a Whitechapel fan, but this was pretty badass. Finally changing things up in their ingredients from the old bland stuff. Good lyrics to.

Whitechapel live is one of the best concerts I've seen. Definitely better if you see them at an inside venue
This is a perfect song to open up a show too

We can march at sundown upon capitol hill
We're calling you out
Come face us now and see your true war
I've said before and I'll say it again
This world is ours
Let's take it back and give them their war
Let's take it back!
We the people
Have spoken against
Our endless war!
My country disagreed, sweet land of idiocracy

Our endless war and Venomous are the best tracks of them in my opinion. Love it !!
My heads banging and the bands doing its job. Period.
Couldn't agree more
I feel like it doesn't matter as long as they as a band like it.
In my reply I was trying to explain that to you, that it wasn't the sole reason I disliked this, but you're just being fucking obtuse and idiotic and trying to turn this into an argument about fucking semantics, I'm telling you that it isn't the only reason, I don't just fucking disregard bands that aren't technical, I like plenty of non tech bands, what I was saying is that I dislike the fact that they went from one side of the spectrum to the other as far as I'm concerned, technical and intelligent metal to dumb, djent, gang vocal shit.
cant get enough of this song and the whole album. love it.
Badass video, made the song sound even better
WHOS HEAR AFTER THE BS IN WASHINGTON LOL
Yeah I thought of this song real quick because of the lyrics

Great song
I'm new in listening to Whitechapel any suggestions for songs :)
Thanks man :)
The Saw is the Law ^_^
Reprogrammed to hate is my favorite.
you cant go wrong with anything form This exile, but my personal favorite would be possession
The best Whitechapel lyrics of all time were wasted in a Chimaira song. Wasn't even the real original Chimaira either... But god damn it did those lyrics hit so fucking hard in Born in Blood. Always gives me chills.
Why does the suggestions at the side for this video consist of Katy Perry, Beyonce and Avril Lavigne :| UA-cam you failure :(
You Tube owned by Google which is in bed with the Government wants you to be distracted with the soft suggestions to the side to blunt your mind. They fear the hard and brutal approach of true freedom and justice.
Enrique Inglesias is so br00tal dude!!!
