Some of these dudes KNEW beyond a shadow of a doubt they were about to get rekt and still got the kick off... that's sacrificing the body as much as anybody else on the team. RESPECT!
@Creme De La Creme ok, so first 99%, but then 100%???? I'm confused now hahaha. Is it ok to lay them out every once in a while or not? Bc I'm telling you, if they are in the play they will get laid out, I'm not going to give them a free hit bc they're a little bitch. On top of that some kickers/punters deserve to be laid out once in a while. I know a few kickers/punters in college that I either went to high school with or who were friends with the one I went to high school with and the way some of them walk around, you'd think they were star quarterbacks in a movie from the 80's. and that attitude=getting demolished.
1:42 That hit put Huber out for the season. Though it was a dirty hit (helmet-to-helmet), Huber never once complained, and he even publicly defended the guy who put him in the hospital, saying it was a fair move.
Some of these are just dirty, while others Im just like learn how to tackle, they're coming in super high on the tackle attempts, of course you're going to get trucked.
They are kickers that are literally built like average joes and they are playing amongst 6’2 200+ lb beasts. Plus they have never had to tackle in their lives. Cut them a little slack.
@@dagoat42bruh68 Spot on. HS is a crapshoot on kicker/punter athleticism, most D1 kickers/punters are or could be considered more athletic than the average joe and NFL specialists are really athletic in some way. It just shows everyone how freakishly big and fast NFL position players are
😆 they should and I'd still have one of the guys in the front wall chase him off the field on the kickoff. imagine how much of a geek he would look like beelining for the sideline like a bitch and still getting rocked doing it. I'm dying thinking about it lol
It wasn't just that the seahawks had alot of clips in this but four of them were Jon Ryan, still one of my favorite seahawks ever. I had to custom order it from the team store since they didn't make a Ryan jersey and I wore that for a good few seasons, even got it signed by him. A bartender I know was friends with Jon and did a podcast with him, "Kickin it with Jon and Greg". I came into the bar one day and he asked "dont you wear a Jon Ryan jersey all the time?" I said "yeah every blue Friday and game day". He told me to bring it in and he actually took it to Jon's house when they were recording a podcast and got it signed for me. Dickson is killing it on punts for the hawks now but seattle will always love Jon Ryan, awesome and humble dude that is funny as hell too.
Won't hear me complaining. That was football back then. Before the softening of the game. Now look at it; it's ridiculous nowadays. If u actually look, the tackler puts his shoulder into the chest of the kicker and the side of his helmet hits the kickers face mask. That's why u wear helmets, so why should that be a penalty? I agree wholeheartedly with the commentator. The way football should be; incidental contact, that's all I see.
Oh, my! My son was punter/kicker in high school. He also did a bit of freelance modeling, so I cringe each time a kicker gets roughed! My boy was killed four years ago, so I cherish the home videos of winning field goals and spectacular tackles he occasionally made (he tried to minimize those, because he knew I would admonish him for risking that exquisite bone structure! 😁) The other players would warn the opposing players, "Don't rough our kicker or his mother will hunt you down and kill you!" Special teams, truly a mama's dream! His stepfather, as team physician, was always somewhere near the sidelines, sharing the experience and protecting those ice bags! We had Gator season tickets and took the motor home to home and away games, as a family. The Spurrier 2.0 and Urban eras were particularly heady times. Destroying FSU in the Sugar Bowl was the highlight. Alas, lost the season tickets in the 2006 divorce 😪 Oh, how I miss my child and treasure those memories.
Kicker/Punter shots are hilarious and usually done totally legally...but standing over a dude half your size that you blindsided and flexxing is a bitch move.
That’s gotta be brutal if your a 5’10 170 pound dude getting charged at by 5-6 jacked 6’3 250 linebackers that can run a 4.40 every time you go in the field 💀
That Antonio Brown return along with the commentary might be my all-time favorite NFL play. An excited Ian Eagle exclaims, "Brown is off to the races, hurdles, kicks a man," as Antonio Brown bazooka kicks P Spencer Lanning. It's perfect.
Considering punters/kickers are the smallest guys on the team, celebrating laying one out is like Shaq celebrating every time he can tough a basketball rim. 🙈
Some great hits, and no crybaby, politically-correct, modern-day castrati commentators talking BS about "defenseless' players or incidental helmet-to-helmet contact. No flags, etc. Real football, as it was, and as it should always be. Thanx for posting so people can remember what real football is like.
“Hurdles, kicks a man”
😂 😂
This will forever be the greatest announcer call of all time.
Imagine just describing that and saying it so casual like it happens on every play.
lol
🤣🤣🤣
Yeah, imagine listening to the game on the radio and hearing that🤣

The curse even followed Hauschka to buffalo too lol
John Ryan wanted to his part, regardless of the pain, several times.
I spit my mtn dew out fr, lmao
Original
As a Seahawks fan I can say Jon Ryan is the most destroyed punter in the NFL. Dude has taken some shots.
They killed them!! As god as my withness they are broken in half.
Bah gawd what a spear
OH MAH GAWD
“They’re people too”
Yes we are lol
Yeah
Thank what do we ever do to yall
U play krunker
@William Moore that’s why it’s in quotes
John Ryan (Seahawks) made this list 4 times!! Credit the man though, each time he got destroyed he was involved with the play at least.
That one against the Bears was on an 89 yard Devin Hester TD. Earl Bennett broke his ribs on that block, which sprung Hester loose.
I felt bad for clicking on this video but I wanted to see the hits...
Same bro.
I wanted to see the Sean Taylor hit.
Imagine showboating after laying out a kicker when your 50 pounds more than him
Not even 50 way more than that😂😂
More like 150
well laying out a kicker who was involved in the play is nice, but those unnecessary hits just piss me off.

@Creme De La Creme damn you a bigass crybaby just stay away from football 😆
They ain't built for that type of abuse
I wonder why they're a kicker.....
Ima kicker
@Andre Saavedra thats why I was surprised when I think Matt Bryan slammed someone
They signed the dotted line and was issued padding. If they’re not built for it, that’s on them.
@@KorSidy i wonder why youre on the couch oh ya cause you weigh 150 pounds less than a nfl kicker

Yessss
maybe not every hall of famer cuz that shit would take a long time but yea i agree
There’s something about these clips that’s so funny 🤣
1:18 Back when they actually tried in the Pro Bowl
is it just me or do kickers always land the same way whether they're being tackled or blocked
They’re short so they tend to get hit high up, resulting in them getting knocked off their feet.
Hit a flip

Hey what’s wrong with lanky dudes 😔
