I sincerely hope the 4501 will continue to operate on the Tennessee valley railroad museum for many more years to come. I would hate to hear and see that they’re going to discontinue operating this famous Locomotive I just hope that isn’t true if anyone knows about this comment down below
I just hope they’re going to still restore engine 610 I know it’s a slow but steady restoration but I sincerely hope that this former US Army engine will return to steam in the future considering the fact that she’s a slight movie star
@@TexasRailfan21-RailfanRyan I highly doubt it will be anytime soon. With the 4501 being in service for the next 6-7 years, there won’t be a reason to restore the 610. Let’s not forget when these 6 or 7 years are up, the 4501 will yet again have a questionable future unlike the other 2 locomotives.

I really hope 630 gets to steam again this year as she was out of service all of last year yet again.
I’m sure it will at some point. It’s Boiler time doesn’t expire until 2026.
