  • A common error in estimating is the assumption that markup and margin are interchangeable. Although both can be used to calculate a sales price for your estimates, knowing the difference between markup and margin could save your bottom line.

Man I really wanted to invest in this company but they increased their rates by $900! I wouldn’t mind paying the asking price but the only issue is they’re new on the scene and don’t have any social proof. All these videos posted and they have a total of maybe 10 comments out of 1000’s of views. Makes me wonder how organic this is or if it’s just clever marketing, either way the perks they have make sense for the asking price but not having the social proof makes it hard to dish out when other competitors have a much reasonable asking price and the social proof. Must be doing well to be able to raise prices tho.

Thanks for your feedback, John. This webinar was intended to teach about the difference between Markup and Margin rather than demonstrate JobTread specifically. If you would like to see how JobTread supports pricing and job estimating specifically, it is best to schedule a demo: jobtread.com/demo!
