@@corruptotron these are my VODs from when I started playing on stream about 2 months ago, I'm uploading them now to bring my VODs channel more up to speed. In real time I'm much further ahead. I already got the first ending of the game but there's still a whole lot more to explore and do! How many hours do you have so far? I think I'm somewhere close to 100 😂😂

@@corruptotron if you've done Mantis Lords you should enjoy a Short I uploaded earlier today. Somehow I managed to beat them first try and I still don't know how! Check it out: ua-cam.com/users/shorts6BOkkjfuSV4

How did you know the name of the city if this is a blind letsplay?

Lol, there are a few reasons why, sorry in advance for the long read 😅💀
      1. I had heard about the game before and had seen some things about it here and there, but because I had never played it myself, most of the info didn't really stick or come to mind until I experienced it all for myself.
      2. One of my favourite streamer's favourite games is HK and over 3-4 or so months ago he played it again on stream because he did a challenge where he'd play the game from start to finish and whatever he died to, he'd tattoo (he played for like 2-3 days and died to NKG near the end). I watched it but again, because I understood nothing about the game and because he was more so speedrunning it, there wasn't much from it that stuck or that I actually remember other than absolutely loving the music and that the streams felt really cosy, they felt nostalgic despite having never played or watched the game before. Which leads me to reason 3.
      3. I started listening to the HK OST since then and when one of my favourite songs that I recalled from the streamer's playthrough started playing, I checked the name and it is City of Tears so that one was easy to associate and remember as being a place that was all blue. Points 2 and 3 are the main reasons why I really wanted to start playing it for myself. And it's funny because when I started playing HK, I started recognising some places by their music.
      4. Since starting to play HK I've dipped in and out of the Wiki dozens of times, usually when I'm really stuck or curious about something but I don't read too much to avoid spoilers. Never the lore parts, trivia or how to beat instructions, just what I need to know like boss health stats or general locations of something I'm really struggling to find. Same with some UA-cam videos here and there, also only when I'm stuck with something (tbh I only watched videos to help me locate certain abilities that I had no idea where to even begin looking or, again, when really stuck). And as you can imagine, City of Tears comes up a few times. I'm also on the subreddit. But still, all this while dodging as many spoilers as possible, although I've accidentally come across a few (some that really upset me) but I don't think the name of the City of Tears is a spoiler per se.
Maybe one may not consider it 100% blind but it still is to me, as any possible "prior knowledge" I had about it before starting to play it doesn't really hold water, I still didn't know anything of substance about the game and I learnt everything on my own. Call that 95% blind? 😂
Sorry about the long read, I think that's everything as far as I can remember. Hopefully that made sense 😅
