For those talking about backing tracks... its actually a Que track and they only use them on certain songs. They're still playing. He's still singing. It just helps keeps them on time for these huge echoing stadium shows. That's what I've been trying to tell everybody about Kiss. You are still hearing their voices and instruments. When there is so much reverb and they are standing so far apart, it's hard to keep time because the sound sometimes gets to some of the band members at different times depending on how far away they are. They need a constant stream to stay in time. These dudes are 60 something years old... we are obviously hearing Vinces voice. U can hear the mess ups. Just like in Kiss. The moral to the story is its ok lol. U are still hearing the band. Once they start playing you can't hear the que track. Sorry if anyone doesn't understand but this is whats happening with most of these stadium bands nowadays.. I still love them. It's not compromising to their live performance. It just helps them stay together an keep time. That's why when Vince randomly decides to raise the mic up an let the crowd sing, you can't hear his vocal.. cuz he's actually singing lol. Don't freak out folks. Most stadium bands have been using these techniques for YEARS lol. Crazy people are just now noticing. Probably cuz they been inside not doing shit for 3 years and now they're bored lol. Idk.. either way show the boys some love. Most huge stadium bands that don't play just blues use que tracks.. ZZ Top, KISS, Motley, Def Leopard, etc etc.. they all use them in different ways. Like who the hell do yall think plays the synthesizer parts for ZZ Top on Legs or Gimme All Your Lovin or any of those classic 80s hit songs lol.. cmon yall. Bands have been using this shit for YEARS
Crue have been using vocal backing tracks for over a decade but please do not take my word - Nikki's admitted it several times, and unlike Paul Stanley, Sixx's view is fuck it why deceive the fans unlike the Tommy kabuki clown Thayer loving PS who when caught multiple times still denies it.
I'm certainly not gonna say Mick Mars is the reason I play Fender Stratocasters. However, after seeing him twice on this tour and hearing him play them, I'm glad I own 3 American one's. They sound killer!! (Yes, I know it's Mick) lol
Damn, Tommy Lee could pass as Joe Perry’s older brother. Vince should go straight to the treadmill after the show. Mick makes a legitimate argument that Keith Richards and Alice Cooper had a child together. Nikki needs to skip 2-3 kiwi black shoe polish treatments on his hair. Other than that, they look and sound great for a group of guys that ditched retirement.
I’m not saying this to be a dick, this probably is more so rooted in me not liking Vince’s vocals live, ever….. but I feel Vince Is and always has been the weak link live. Imo Mick and Tommy really carry the band musically live. Vince’s vocals almost sound like a parody most of the time. I’m glad to see he seems to have improved over the last few years and is coherent now though.
One of the worst songs ever.....B leaguers. Saw the show in Nashville we left after two songs the mix was so bad, we were too close. I will catch them in San Fran. btw my favorite frontman in Crue was Lou Dorchen but anyone who is the first several rows, if you raise your phone above your head and obstruct someone you deserve to have your phone ripped away. At our show since Vince is living in Franklin, which is what aging B leaguers move to....he addressed the crowd in his native tongue: the Bonapa keesa. Tolpa da bunky na booty cha naga o wanna meete chobodda.
He sounded much better than this video. He did really well. We were in the 4th row. He gets a lot of crap. Nikki is the one that has most of his stuff on backings these days, which is disappointing. Then again, i never got to see Crue back in the day, so seeing them last night, I felt very damn lucky. Rock on, everyone!🤘🏼🎸
Mick still killing it , God bless him
Amazing at 71 even with his debilitating disease. Hope he can do it for many more years.
Was his last tour.....😢🎸🎶
U gotta love Mick he can still bring it yall b safe out there
Thx for posting. I loved the show. Thought Vince did really well, unlike other years. He sounded much better in person. 🎸
He sounds pretty good here.
Because they have 80% backing tracks.
TOTALLY AGREED, Our Vince is back

Love you Crue! Thank you for coming to KC ur the best band ever! 🎸
Come to Nagaland
Just Going thru the motions
Nutha cool vid Curt. Can you advise what you use to video your gigs please?
Is that a Taylor Hawkins tribute in the background?
I saw this in San Antonio last week. My god was Motley Crue bad. I have seen them 10-12x live and last week was a pitiful performance.

i cant sing an vince cant either
Мик Марс что-то совсем сдал.
Crowd seems to be comatose.
Most are too busy on their phones, unlike in the past. I notice this at most concerts these days.
It was too fuckin hot for ballads. None of the ballads got the energy.
Crowd was turnt for Girls, Girls, Girls and all the other day 6 hits

tempo so slow....
Vince sounds out of key.
Slow songs suit him better, then he doesn't mumble the lyrics. Get on some jardiance, he'll lose some weight

This is just sad. No energy whatsoever. Vince totally sucks. Just a pathetic cash grab.
1:36/1:48
I know that's me Whistling in the Background....
They ROCKED Kauffman...💪🏼🎸
Vince sounds absolutely horrible
That is why I skipped it
He actually sounded a lot better in person than on video

I saw that those tix were 750 a piece, too steep for me.
Can you sing better ?
