Parque España a Xochimilco in 40 minutes. Always faster than the vehicles...Nothing too crazy here - just some nice flow on the Track Bike, commentary on how i approach street riding and risk assessment, and a few tight situations (as usual).
Vamos conmigo al incio de Xochimilco. Hay una buena Laboritorio de Fotografía para revelar mis peliculas de 35mm. Todo en avenida División del norte, one take, no cuts. Division del Norte is one of my favorite avenues in Mexico City. It's a diagonal that crosses the city from Northwest to Southeast - Cuauhtémoc to Xochimilco. It always has plenty of flow, great light timing, and a simple double white line to follow (at least most of it!).
Traffic can get pretty heavy in Xochimilco, which it does after Glorieta Vaqueros and onto prol. Div del Norte, with a healthy dose of Microbúses y Tráfico pesado on a Monday afternoon.
Eventually we arrive at Foto Sintesis, my new Lab, and drop some film with Alessandro. Cool!

ambient sounds always better, i agree. At least for this format! im still trying to figure out the vertical video workflow for socials (with music!) My gear here is 47x16 🤫 changed from 16 years of 49x17... crazy. need to go faster here in CDMX

ya fui allá casi todos los dias de la semana, muchas veces... me encanta esta glorieta. muy facil (y mejor) para pasar en el carril de metrobuses :) :)

Muy buèn recorrido, sòlamente no entiendo porquè te pasas los semafiros en rojo....Es decir es tu vida la que està en juego. Y son muchos los ciclistas que se pasan en rojo. Saludos.
gracias. si cuando tienes el eje para cruzar, porque no cruzar? (solo si sientes comodo). es mas fluido y sin molesarme. So no tengo una buena linea, no cruzando. el riesgo es tu cambio

How wide are your handlebars compared to your shoulders?
i use 42cm bars usually for the track bike - about what my shoulders are, nothing crazy narrow. definitely hit their limits in tight traffic here, but narrower bars wouldn't save you. at least i never feel the need for something more narrow sacrificing stability.
