@@aashishpratapsingh974 The biggest point that he and now everyone's now saying is that the 5'5" range to 5'8" range creates the biggest benefit. He's not wrong. I will never understand that though.
Thanks Victor and Nailed Legs for your insightful video. Yes, it's bothersome to always have to alter newly bought pants, it's like I'm missing 2.5 to 3 inches of height right after fitting it. But not just that. I've watched previous videos here about using this height advantage on sports. The longer the lever arm, the greater the torque force. Also, the fact that there's a physical change that will stay permanent is like creating a new you.
My parents got onto me about this yesterday because I said I'm getting it when i'm old when I have a better support network and finances. I said - this could literally be the same thing as a hip replacement - which old people get all the time.
I want to add an important concept on height: People will perceive height differently because of the system they use.. In the US you get the ''tall'' mark when the 5 changes into 6 while in Europe (or every country using a metric system) will consider tall when the 7 gets to 8 (170/180cm).. numbers makes it psychological because nobody will notice any difference between someone who is 5'11 and another one who is 6ft if they have slightly different shoes. Also with imperial system you don't get the proportion between being 6ft or being 6'3 since it looks like the height is ''closer'' but with centimeters you'll see another increase in the number from 8 to 90 (180-190) putting you in REALLY tall territory. I think people in the 5'5 range will benefit from LL since they will go from super short to average (5'8 + shoes is 5'9, + insoles almost 5'10) but people in the 5'7 or 5'10 territory will go from average to tall (like top 80/90% or 2/2.5 standard deviations above average). People above 5'10 will not experience that much, I mean the average height in Europe is 184cm in the Netherlands but most countries are way under that and if you're 5'11 you will always fit normally in the society unless you feel the urge of becoming 6'1/6'2+ which is unnecessary for dating.
Hei man just want to ask when does exactly the internal removed after the leg lengthening or is it going to be stuck inside forever? try to search this info in internet but still not yet found
wouldn't lengthening from 5ft7.5 to 5ft10.5 see the most relative difference (and thus most benefit) as that would lead to the biggest height percentile shift with you lengthening equal proportions (1.5 inch) over and under the average height of 5ft9?
Sup brother , been watching your content for a long time ago and I have an question that I don’t think anybody has asked or think of , is it ok to complement the surgery with something like stem cells therapy of even some types of steroids, and if so would it make the overall process and the healing process faster , plus make the new bone build better and thinker than a normal person who have a normal surgery ?😅
Stem cells, peptides and other exogenous substances need to be closely monitored and regulated by a qualified professional. My opinion is to not introduce too much during the lengthening phase and only in the consolidation if at all and ONLY if proper nutrition, rest and supplements are in place first
I'm 5'2½ and I want to be about 5'9. I'm 16 (growth plates closed) and jump off buildings, do flips, fight and I want to become champion and compete professionally, not just professionally i want to be the best. Do you think I can still have all my explosive jump power and agility and power? I have to be able to take the impact of big drops and direct impact. Even with the risks I'm just way too abnormal. I'll always stay a child at this height and the man I envision to become one day is not a midget. Do you think I can stay as strong and fast as I am and continue growing even after LL?
I haven’t done this surgery but I imagine your athleticism is going to take an extremely massive hit. I think it could take years to get back to a previous level
hey coach i got a question about the post surgurey recover , and yes i watched your video about can you make a full recovry but what i want to ask is can a amatrue or pro mma fighter do this surgurey ? i do mma prettey regurally and i not sure if i will do that surgurey or not but if i did am gonna plan to do it on femur bone , if i did it will i be able to fight again couple of mma fightes ? can i recover enough to take shots in the leg ? and can i recover enough at least to kick as hard as i could on a hard punching bag ? i hope you take 2 minutes of your day gust to advice me
I suggest you wait until you are finished your fighting career/hobby/sport then think about the surgery. However, yes, once your bone heals it will heal as good as before provided you don't have a delayed or non-union. But you will need to adapt to your new biomechanics and train harder to get back to where you are currently. But I suggest waiting.
Hello Victor, I am 32 years old and I want to make LLS, I go to the gym everyday, do Muay Thai, yoga and ride a bike 3 days a week. My height now is 1.69cm and I want to reach 1.77cm with precice max method to my femurs(I have my femurs 40cm and tibias 40cm). Do you think is good to grow 8cm and get back to normal with my sports routine or is better to grow less? Thank you for your time.
I'm 5.9 and want to do this surgery in 2026 to become 6.0/6.1 I heard that you said big muscles in legs are more negative than positive for limb lengthening why is thay?
Sir. I love your video. I’ve heard that this patient who did femur, after the surgery he couldn’t bend his knee for the physical therapy. Not because of his joints, because he feels pain and stiffness with his muscles since right after the surgery. How can you fix this if it’s happened?
It could since you are building new tissue. Possibly up to 8-11lbs for 8cm on the femurs for a young male if proper stimulus and resources are provided
