I definitely really enjoy those albums, when I want to listen to them it's all I listen to for days. I actually prefer Isn't Anything to Loveless though. "No More Sorry" is one of my favorite songs ever. I wish they'd mixed Belinda's vocal's a littler louder in this and maybe filtered out some of the lower frequencies, can barely hear her
Damn this song is so good. I now fully appreciate MBVs recording styles and sound technique. As a music lover, their messy sounding mixes threw me for a loop. Some tracks being more like songs and others like straight noise or out of tune bending. I've always been open minded but I couldn't fully understand the appeal behind their varying sound. I get it now. Even though this is one of the more cohesive sounding tracks with a cleaner mix, I love and appreciate the messy ones too. Albums are like books. Bands are like encyclopedias. MBV is a beautiful piece of art with magnificent originality.
That's funny you say that because when I first listened to My Bloody Valentine it was like the sound I was hoping to find in every band that I'd listened to prior to them.
I could not stop smiling the first time I heard this track. Literally, I had a big grin on my face after about 15 seconds and it lasted the entire song.
This song is like holding back and growing immensely from the inside...ugh I can't describe. A little tune with a big heart, or something...deceptively simple...so good...
One of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. To see Bilinda sing this in Manchester, with a single spotlight on her... Can't describe the beauty of those minutes.
I bought a bootleg copy of loveless a couple of years ago, the recordshop owner who sold it to me said i should only purchase it if i didnt mind listen to it full blast, cause that was the only way i would enjoy it.
Best song on the album, and a beautiful pop song. Just because a song is poppy and catchy doesn't mean automatically disqualify if from brilliance. On the same note, just because a song is difficult to listen to doesn't automatically qualify it as brilliant. Being open-minded goes both ways. To each his own, I guess. You and I have different tastes. On the other hand, we both love MBV/mbv! We can be different and the same at the same time.
My first particular memory of this song was after arriving late from Shannon to Stansted and having to wait all night for a connecting flight the following morning...7 hrs but this song was on my mp3 player and i kept playing it on repeat it was so catchy so comforting all night and i loved it
i remember when this album came out and their website crashed. then i opened up the files to the track titles all in lower case. little did i know then how many times i'd hear some of these songs
It's just so straightforward and bright. It threw me for a loop. It's now my favorite song off the album, perfectly paced for walking, which I do a lot of now. You can catch a lot of the song's intricacies at full volume too.
I also recall somebody wrote in the comments that it reminded him of a cool, picturesque Japanese mall. I've never been to Japan, but it certainly wouldn't be out of place in Lost in Translation.
I thought I was in love with My Bloody Valentine before, but after 22 years after my favorite album of all time, I love them even more after this release. I love that this is truly THEIR sound. They make magic in any decade, at any time. From ambient tinged to loungey pop to "drum and bass" they are still so themselves. AND WE LOVE IT!!!!
wow... clean guitars... an ACTual melody... you can hear the vocals.. this is a whole new MBV.. no wonder it took 'em nearly 20 yrs to finish it .Lovely tune.
This is my favorite song on this album. My mind wants to think this track was made in the 90's, that's how great MBV is! Hahaha It makes me day dream a lot. I love it.
Ya era hora!!! apareció!!! hee, hee, hee..... excelente... como siempre my bloody valentine es un grupo que emociona.... Me voy al desierto de atacama a caminar con esta musica
As a long time fan, and lover of their album Loveless… it took me a LONG time to actually give this album a through listen… This hands down is the catchiest song from this album. I love how “fluffy” this sounds, very contrasting to “heavy” disorted sound MBV has been known for. Definitely shoegaze meets pop moment, reminiscent to Cocteau Twins era of “dreampop. Pretty ironic, since MBV is known for being influenced by everything except Cocteau Twins. Regardless, this is such a superb song. I always come back to it. As someone once described this album, it’s a cool ranch.
@@kayeholanda Interesting, I will take you word for it my friend. I’ve only read it once, and heard it from a MBV fan. I never really asked for source or anything.
I think there is such a cool use of effects here I think, I like how the bass is so present on this song and the chord progression remids me of some 90s grunge stuff. I think this album was worth the wait and in recent years post rock and shoegaze have gotten more popular anyways.
This song feels like being madly in love with someone who is utterly friendly, kind and sweet to everyone all the time, but who does not love you back and will never do. Someone who, despite their lack of romantic feelings towards you, is always there helping you out no matter what. Breaking your heart more and more with every good deed.
Noisey Pop loveliness. Thanks for Upping the whole LP. My VISA isn:t processing yet. Sounds so warm and analog even at 192kbs. I was 21 in 1991... Loveless helped change the game.... don:t wait so long for yr nxt... the world needs amazing original GTR music NOW!!
Didn't immediately love this song but it's grown on me over a week of listening to the album over and over. It has this completely relaxed vibe that I'm not used to hearing from MBV.
it took me awhile to get over the band name and give them a listen (my drummer was bugging me to check them out) and I'm glad I did. This band is great!

@@MegaThefuture there's no problem in not liking the whole album! i don't skip tracks when i feel like listening to a whole album, but i don't like the last two tracks on this one very much. to me the ones who i really really really love are new you, only tomorrow and who sees you. she found now and if i am i kinda like but it's not comparable to the others. and remaining 3 other tracks... well, i just passively listen to them when i'm listening to the whole thing. in the first album i think there's only who track i don't like very much, which is no more sorry. on loveless i love the whole thing with no exceptions.

I agree
I really don’t think anyone’s posted anything this trenchant on UA-cam since it was created.
OK, the tremelo guitars are great but as soon as Belinda's vocals kick in, it's like diving into a pool of warm jelly...just pure bliss!
Bliss flavoured bliss

True
Vocal Is pool and guitar Is warm jelly
I dont think Kevin Shields realizes how much he is LOVED❤
They're the only band that can disappear for 20 years and come back sounding as fresh as ever. This is so good!
The catchiest song on the album, great vocal, great bass line, the outro is "loveless"-esque. Love it, big time...
Yes, they should have released this as a single
Specifically this album and Loveless speak to the deepest part of who I am. I can say the same about several Lush albums as well.
You're speaking my language.

I remember this from another life.
It’s strange how unheard material by this band can sound familiar. Ancient melody for the future
spot on

this song is incredible
this song is the embodiment of an in-between, the transformation, the end to a beginning...
This is truly the musical equivalent to sitting on a cloud
It is a privilege to share this happiness with others...I hope MBV is as contagious as the common cold. Best wishes....
When I listened to this song, I remembered me, my sister, and my mom were having a girls day and I had so much fun! :)
