Great stuffs! I have one small problem. Let's say there is a pallet contains of Coke, Lays, Pepsi and Nike all mixed together. I receive this type of order everyday from various sellers, and handling these orders can be challenging, especially if it's becoming difficult to optimizing the space. Do you have any good solution for this? Hoan Tran (aka Johny in this video)
Ideally, order in larger quantities less frequently so you don't have to deal with mixed pallets. If this isn't possible, I'll assume you get a full pallet's worth of most of the products over a couple days. Multiple mixed pallets can be stripped, products counted while being sorted onto their own pallets. Once full, wrap and put-away. Note if you're mixing batch numbers/sell by dates. Important that this is part of the receiving process if you have mixed pallets.
could you do a video where you go into different location types more indepth? e.g. pick front vs replen, primary and secondary, bulk; and the advantages and disadvantages of each (such as which are more conductive to FIFO/lot management etc.)
Can you please explain about how bonded warehouse system should be and how a licensed custom declare system can ve implemented in a bonded warehouse? Thank you so much for all your inputs !
Great suggestions. Please don’t call it Saran Wrap. Saran is a brand of food grade cling film food wrap. Warehouses use stretch film; either hand grade or machine grade film of 2 manufacturing methods : blown or cast.
I am very excited to learn as well understand your teaching clearly 👍🏻
This was wonderful. Thank you!
You are so welcome!
Where is the link for the video that shows you creating bin location?
Is SKU a kind of identity number of a product? I mean a unique number like a PK in a database table?
