Overload often comes when you run out of 'Time Management' methods, yet still have more on your plate than you can realistically handle. So, what next? I'll tell you.
Thank you, you have broken my problem to give reasonable solution. I hope I can get rid of my overloaded work, it's affecting my sleep and performance.

I came to this video to see what I could have done different today. Our only process manager tried to delegate training somebody to me, when I was well over capacity for the the 3rd week in a row and got mad. I told her week before last and last week I have to cover for the employee that left our company. I needed to see what else I could have done. I did all I could. I told her absolutely not. The resources we have is a bunch of manual processes that management is not making plans to automate. I truly hope she figures out how to do her workload, because if me , a young person, stuck with doing my job description 40% of the time, and 60% of the time I'm working on weekly and monthly reoccurring projects that have nothing to do with what I signed up for, and able to get everything completed on time, I want to know what she was really mad about. I have never seen somebody hear the phrase "Not right now but after the 8th I can take the time to help" and lose their minds. 😂😂😂😂
Sounds like you are doing really well. Be sure to make the best of your non-work time to stay chill and relax properly. Otherwise you will risk the stress of your workload having an adverse impact on you.
Update: My manager had my back this morning about it. And reiterated my concerns and made the girl back off. 😁👋 I am at peace now ❤️ Thanks Mike for the kindest of words!
Apologies, but the laws of the universe prevent miracles. This is a realistic assessment of how to recognize overload and the real options you have. Anyone who offers you a magical way to make time out of nothing, is probably cheating you. If you can't take more time, do less work, or get more resources, you have to put your hand up and ask for help. Otherwise, you are in trouble. By the way, are you absolutely certain that overload is your problem, rather than overwhelm? The fix to that is very different: ua-cam.com/video/Gp21qbsesbc/v-deo.html
@@ManagementCourses Thank you for your help, but it just not working right now. Sorry if I’m coming across as hostile, but yes it is just overload as I have 5 projects due in a few weeks and Vague introductions to work with.
@@syrenity64 Then, with my Project Manager hat on (my other channel is ua-cam.com/users/onlinepmcourses ) you need to speak with your clients/sponsors to clarify your brief for each project and negotiate timings. It is in nobody's interest for you to fail. And if you don't know the drivers for timing and the relative priority, there is a danger you could fail on the most important. Suffering in silence, surfing UA-cam, and trying to be a hero won't get you what you need.

Thank you so much! I’m struggling with schoolwork overload. This video clarified the techniques, thanks!
Glad it was helpful!

@@BlueMagic334 I'm happy to have helped.
1. increase time
2. Increase resources
3. Reduce the work
Yeah That’s not too helpful, I can’t just do that
