This was great. I have been given a Euro Pro X 8135H that sewed great, but it chirped like a bird really loud. It was very intolerable. Looks like brand new, barely used. No dust or anything inside, just sat for years. I think it has been passed to several people that could not fix it. I will get this baby going for a new life. Thank you so much.
My goodness me. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. I’ve had that squeak for months on end. I didn’t know how to fix it and no amount of video showed exactly how to open the machine and where to oil. My issue was the same as yours. After thorough cleaning and oiling there was still a slight squeak. I put the whole thing back together and by the time I was done the oil had permeated and no squeak was audible anymore! 🎉. You’re the best. Thank you!
thank you for this, just what I needed to see. I finally uncovered one of these machines picked up from an op shop, so am ready to turn it on and see how it responds.
any further suggestions on how to get the front cover off?? I've followed your example, came close, but things seem very stuck up the top. Think I have a bit come loose inside, as there is no reverse, and now no forward either. Originally thought it was the feed dogs, then learnt it was the connection. Haven't tried taking off the back at this stage. Any tips greatly appreciate. Thank you :)
Love watching your videos I’ve learned so much. Could you tell where I can get an oil can like the little metal one you use with the push pump on the base. I’ve searched many, many different places with no luck. Even knowing the correct name for it may help in my search. Thank you.
My sewing machine (Janome novum circa 1960’s) is making a whirring noise from the motor/belt area. It’s creating beautiful stitches, everything working but the whirring is a little annoying. Any ideas of what it might need? The rest of the machine is clean and oiled so no problems there. I’ve just got it so I don’t know if it’s normal or not
Are these complex tasks of sewing machines possible for a housewife at home? If a housewife removes the machine completely and oils inside it, then the machine will not be able to set properly. Because we are unprofessional😮 My machine is singer heavy duty. I sew sometimes, Sometimes the sewing workload is high. So why would Machine have a problem? If I take a service center, they will ask for a huge of money for simple works😒

I love your oiler, never seen one like it Canada. Where’d you get it? I’d mail order one
I so enjoy your videos, Thank you for posting this. I do have a question of what year + - is this machine from?
Not sure exactly but I would say early 2000s. Thanks.

Unfortunately the oil can is no longer made. It's from an older Elna sewing machine.Thanks.

It may just need the motor belt tightened, or maybe take it in for a service. Thanks.
Thanks
Se le puede cambiar por luz blanca? Saludos ,gracias.
Is that an Elna oil can you use there?
That's right - from a Supermatic.
