Good God!
Yeeeeeow!
Great work Andy. I’m gonna tear this old building down with this tune.
you really captured the essence and mood of this wonderful song by the Rev. Gary Davis!
Glad to be supporting this channel. So much detail here. Great work!
Thank you Jonathan. So lucky to have any little bit of support.
Sounds very impressive. ❤
Great job. I can hear the reverend singing when you play. He was as playful with words as he was with guitar. Thanks!
I really wanted to hire a vocalist for this one. I’d love to do it again some day with someone who can do it justice.
omg no way! i have been wanting to learn this. this is awesome
Nice Gibson SJ200 bro!!!
We’re covering lots of ground. It keeps things interesting. I really dig Soldier’s Drill. Steve Mann did a nearly impossible version. It’s fun when someone captures a tune without necessarily replicating it. On the other hand, replicating the tune is always a great starting point.
Your so talented -Alan
can you name of the acoustic?? jimmy page played with this in "white summer/black mountain side"
Fantastic
Finally someone did it :)
Fantastic. Where’s the dark glasses and hat 🤗😂
You know “no silly hats” is one of my channel rules. Silly hair is allowed, however.
Ripping rag. Should have a million.views. what's the tuming.Standard. you're a genius.
Tell me bout it, mister Gibson.
FUN!
I don’t think I’ll ever get beyond rudimentary Cocaine Blues and Candy Man, and a kinda sorta Cincinnati Rag. I’m always perplexed by how much harder it is to play with just the index but it’s critical. Ever try holding the guitar like RGD? Like the 1 finger style, I kinda get how the posture played a role in every note. It’s like a golf swing. Awesome playing as usual!
It's pretty uncomfortable for me to sit that way, but I agree and think it would play a part.
if a haad my way, I would tear this whole building down. ;-) it is pretty much identical to what the reverend played, so great job! i kind of miss the lyrics in this one tbh. have you considered collaboration with someone who sings? your guitar playing surely would be worth the additional artistic effort!
This is the karaoke version. Feel free to sing along.
