If I had to recommend any 2 mods for those who don’t or can’t use Gshade is the Sunblind lighting mod by softerhaze and all of the Khippie terrain override mods. Can’t play my game without them.
@@savythatsimmerDefinitely check them out. You might have to search tech hippie sims 4 on google or even UA-cam. I do want to give a disclaimer that I don’t belong they have all of the worlds updated esp the newer worlds. Base game for sure is done.
Also another thing you can do is go to color settings on your laptop or pc in click the red and green option in it makes the sims more colorful and other games!

My laptop can’t take reshade or Gshade at all but I got softerhaze by milk thistle, Northern Siberian Average lights, and Northern Siberian CAs lightning my game looks so good it looks like a reshade and gshade when it doesn’t
I 100% have access to GShade and Reshade but it's genuinely just annoying to deal with sometimes, literally just deleted it to get mods instead, so thank you for this video

I downloaded Gshade on my pc and i had it for a day and the next day i came back my pc no longer would turn on bringing it into the shop tommorow to see if the computer has something loose in my tower or if gshade has broke my pc 😔

Totally understand that! I was the same way lol. It's actually easier than you think 😊 I had a friend help me, and it's just about copying and pasting that folder in your Sims 4 folder. go to your C drive - program files - ea games - the sims 4 - and just paste those folders into the sims 4 folders. That's it 😊

so yes! They both do the same thing, just two different platforms. I prefer gshade because it is more performance friendly with my gaming laptop. A lot of other people say it's easier on their computers too! 😊

You’re supposed to copy data and delta files and paste them in and click on replace if you do that it would work in fact that creator has the instructions in his or her site it’s actually easy

I'm STRUGGLING trying to figure out how to instal these lighting mods. I've heard they have to go into a specific folder but I don't know what it is, not the regular mod folder right? All the tutorials I'm seeing seem to be outdated. I can't find the sims 4 in my applications folder, just the EA app. Am I missing something?

I had to actually go into my applications folder and search for the sims, it wasn’t just in the list, then I was able to find the folders the milk thistle mod was meant to go in. I don’t know about the CAS one though. I did put a couple of the other lighting mods in the regular mods folder but didn’t notice a difference if that’s how it works

Yes, absolutely! Reshade is terrible on my computer when I used it before. Gshade is much better for performance. 👏🏼 but if you were going with these mods only, it would be so much better on your game overall 🥰

But make a backup folder for your data and delta like the og it’s like copying your mods so you’re mods so you won’t lose them

These mods are separate from sims 4 content. It will not affect it. Did you put them in your mods folder?
