    I just got this. It’s like the Theragun Prime, just a stronger one than that. The OLED screen is nice. The biggest thing with this is the removable battery. That’s huge. I can do this for an entire session and not have to concern myself with battery since I can just put a fresh one in. I own the Theragun Prime as well as I bought that in at a Therabody store in NYC at Hudson Yards.

    I purchased Theragun Pro 4th generation brand new for $740 CAD about a month ago on Amazon as a prime item.
    I had my doubts about 150 minutes they claim for each battery.
    So a few days ago I timed it. Each time using it I used my phone timer to start and stop the time as I was using it. So a fully charged battery lasted 77 minutes while I used the gun at the low speed. 77 minutes is half of what they are claiming. Have you timed the battery yet? If you own Theragun Pro 4th generation I suggest timing the battery because you might be in for a big surprise.
    I contacted amazon and was told the item was not refundable due to hygiene reasons and I had to contact the manufacturer. I contacted Therabody and was asked to submit the purchase invoice and then was told that Amazon is not an authorized seller and therefore there's no warranty and they couldn't help me with the battery issue.

    Good review.
    I just bought the new Elite version and after 4 days with it, can tell you it basically kicks @ss!
    I have no issue getting all parts of my back without the rotating arm and while it’s not as strong as the pro, this thing is VERY powerful. Also very solid build overall.
    Wife and I alternate on using it on each other as well and your body after just a few mins of this thing makes you feel like you have a new body.
    One word of caution: you DO NOT need to do a long session of massage. This thing is very efficient and very powerful, so you really only need 10-15 mins for each massage. In fact, I have a couple friends that used it for much longer and woke with sore backs.
    Loving this thing!!

    • @Learnwithtravis
      @Learnwithtravis  4 роки тому +2

      Great to hear! I imagine the Elite is more than enough for most people so to hear how well it is has worked for you is fantastic! Good point on how long to use it. I noticed the same and it gets the job done really well and fast, but it could be easy to overuse, specially before you body adapts. Probably a good idea to drink plenty of water when you use it!

    • @Learnwithtravis
      @Learnwithtravis  3 роки тому

      Thank you! Depends on how you use it. Honestly, I have found that I leave it in one position most of the time, but there are times where you realize moving it allows you to reach out a spot you would not have otherwise...

    Amazing review!!!!! I’m having the hardest time deciding between the elite and pro. Price is no issue. I know the elite is quieter but if the pro gives me a better massage, than that is the one I want. I know plenty are happy with the elite. I do tend to like overkill and get better than what I need. Lol. It’s just for my wife and I. I have neck, lower back, calf, feet, and calf pain. She has back and shoulder pain. Have your tried the elite by any chance?

    • @Learnwithtravis
      @Learnwithtravis  4 роки тому +2

      Unfortunately, I have not. Another person commented that they got the Elite and it is fantastic. My guess is the Elite would be more than enough. While the ability to move the angle of the massage is nice, I usually stuck to the default position. I know the Pro does have a more powerful motor, so not sure how much that factors in, but I know that the pro can do one heck of a job. Makes me believe the Elite would still be plenty for two people to get great massages. Good luck with your decision and thanks for the nice comment!

      @Learnwithtravis  3 роки тому

      Thank you! I wanted to review the top option, but if I were picking as regular option... I think I would go with Elite. Will not be as loud and can still probably do everything you need. I have not run into a situation where I was like "Glad I got the Pro". Not that it is bad... I love it... but the Elite is probably enough for most.

    Hi! You said you were struggling with some tight muscles. Did that get better from using the theragun pro? I am struggling with tightness in my left leg which can cause cramps and spasms. That’s primarily what I will use the Theragun for if I buy it... Thus, I need to know if it works on that.

    • @Learnwithtravis
      @Learnwithtravis  3 роки тому

      So sorry I don't have a great answer. Shortly after this video, I broke my foot and was forced to be completely inactive for 3 months. I ended up fading away from the Theragun because my situation changed so dramatically. It does massage your muscles extremely well and I could see it being beneficial if you are consistent with problematic situations like you are describing, but unfortunately I can't answer your question the way you are hoping. Sorry Sondre.

    • @Learnwithtravis
      @Learnwithtravis  2 роки тому

      It could definitely be part of the solution. If you have been struggling for that long, I worry more is going on. Going to a chiropractor could set you in the right direction but if you want to try things on your own first, massager, focus on better hydration, start stretching, and exercise the opposite muscles (abs and quads).

      Been there, done that. Heavy, not user friendly, bad ergonomics, loud as hell, limited in spaces where you can read on the body and a little dangerous. The lacrosse ball I had superglued to the blade flew of during use a few times and stabbed in the quad a few times. Didn't result in a serious injury, thankfully, but I didn't really want to keep using it did.
