    Do you think the 16mm really helps vs hypervolt plus. I feel like with that little bit.you can just push down more to make up the 4mm?

    • @BestMassageTech
      @BestMassageTech  4 роки тому +3

      Yes I do. The analogy I like to use is to think of throwing a punch. The more distance you wind your arm back, the harder you can punch. Now certainly there are plenty of people that like the hypervolt, including me, but when it comes to something that can give me a really deep and powerful massage, the extra distance helps a lot. Again, personal preference rules all.

    Thanks for your reviews. I've purchased quite a few different devices and came back to this one (after the new release and the fact that it's supposed to be quieter). I would say it is a little quieter than the previous generation, but like you said, it's a different sound. When you're using the device and apply pressure to it, do you notice some louder vibrations coming from the housing? This seems to happen to a lot of guns after weeks/months of use, but on this one it happened right out of the box. Doesn't affect performance but was wondering if you encountered that? After all of the devices I've had (hypvevolt plus, biozoom, jawku, pulse fx to name a few), I would say the pulse fx is the closest in regards to power, battery life, strength/stall force. Thanks!

      I use G3PRO everyday for almost one year now.And I think G3PRO is the best.The sound is pretty consistent and not like others when you use them long time and the sound will be different and louder. G3 Pro need to be improve by 2 aspects . One is too loud and the other is too heavy.

    • @BestMassageTech
      @BestMassageTech  4 роки тому

      Wang Hanson unfortunately we don’t really get either of those items improved with the PRO. New sound is slightly quieter but moreso just a different sound - mostly due to a redesigned gear box.

      David Maxson you have tried a lot!! I’m trying to get the best. Would you say the Therabody pro is the best out there? I’m just looking for the best massager. I’m not an athlete. I have neck, back, calf, feet, shoulder, knee pain. Lol

    • @davemaxson9162
      @davemaxson9162 4 роки тому

      Joe Momma I’ve definitely tried a lot. I would say the Theragun Pro is the best in terms of quality. The attachments are top notch, amplitude is excellent, batteries last longer than the previous g3 pro (and there’s two of them), and stall force is excellent. If you don’t mind spending $599 I would go for it. My second choice would be the lifepro pulse fx (which I think is on sale right now at amazon). With the pulse fx, the materials aren’t as premium in my opinion, but the results from the device are extremely close if not identical. Hope that helps and good luck!

    • @BestMassageTech
      @BestMassageTech  3 роки тому +1

      John kurian as you press the massage gun onto your muscle it displays a little bar graph for how much force you are applying. It has nothing to do with being able to change the force of the gun. It’s simply a display in the form of a bar graph to know how much pressure you are applying and it correlates with various routines in the app so you know if you are applying the appropriate amount of pressure to that area.

    I'm miss the large ball vs the super soft attachment (only used on my temple/head). To me the sound is softer or muffled a bit so I like that. The battery has 2x more capacity then the g3pro. It does feel lighter. Love the oled screen vs bright light. The app is quirky but it works (after you do a tedious software update thru the phone unto the actual theragun). I was tempted to keep the g3pro for $450.00 (Best Buy) yet since I had the credit & I'm spending so much on it for my body... Figures might as well get it. My wife prefers thia muffled sound one vs the older model. She still doesn't like it on her body as she says it hurts her. It hurt me at 1st (lower back/hamstrings) but the relieve is worth it. I drive a lot & bunch of gear on my body and I'm not exercising like I should do that pain. With this 600 bucks massager it helps so much so that I can then exercise. So, I don't feel guilty about buying. Cheaper than a personal massager. Thanks for the review. Learned a couple of things. Be safe.

    I am glad you stated there wasn't much of a sound difference between the the G3Pro and Pro. I was somewhat annoyed that I had purchased my G3Pro two months prior to the release of the Pro. My wife complains about the sound all of the time, so it's good to know that the sound isn't much quieter, but rather different sounding if that makes sense. Then again, I am wondering what kind of reliability the new motor will have versus the previous generation. I suppose we'll see! Great review!

    I just purchased the PRO version (4th Gen) but discovered something strange.
    I checked the batteries that were supplied with it anf they state the following Model no: TG-G3Pro-25S
    G3Pro???? What is this about? The Voltage is 14.4 V -36Wh and amp is 2500mAH. These are the specs of the G3Pro model batteries. Does this mean they simply used the exact same batteries as tge G3Pro model for the "PRO 4th Gen" Model??
    If this is the case, how can a G3Pro battery magically go from 75 min capacity to 150 min capacity? Magic or ultimate BS????
    Guys it would be great if you guys can check your battery models and capacities and post them back.

      I checked mine on the G3Pro and PRO and they are both the same model number you've listed. I'm not sure what this all means. They have different motors in them so my assumption is that the newer motor requires less power, allowing the battery to last longer.

    It could be just me but I just bought theragun pro a few days ago, fully charged both batteries and I feel like 1 battery doesn't last for the 120-150 min as promised. I'm thinking that using it onn the 2400 force non stop could be the answer though. I'm in debate to return it and get a hypervolt since I feel like the battery would last longer

    • @BestMassageTech
      @BestMassageTech  2 роки тому +1

      Tony, the battery life is based on the device being used on its lowest speed so there is definitely some accuracy to your thoughts.
      That being said, allow me to offer a few thoughts. Consider that if you do change over to a Hypervolt, not all of them have removable batteries so you won’t always have a fully charged device as you can with the Theragun Pro by being able to put in a fully charged battery. If you do go with the Hypervolt, you will have to get the 2 Pro or purchase an older model Hypervolt and an additional battery if you want the same “always charged” experience. The regular Hypervolt 2 does not have a removable battery.
      Hope you find the device that’s right for you!

      @@joemomma707 Hi, sorry for the delayed reply. I wanted to give a considered view, I hope it is helpful.
      We bought the Pro and immediately thought that we should have bought the Elite. This was mainly because the really knotted, sore spots (of which there are many) were so tender we could stand only the lightest of touches and it wouldn’t have mattered which one we got.
      After nearly two weeks, we still haven’t been able to apply an awful lot of pressure, although we can apply more in some areas, but we’ve not stalled it. Because there are two of us the adjustable arm isn’t so necessary but we have made a little use of it where a fixed arm would have been slightly awkward. Maybe because it’s new, the Pro is getting a lot of use and we have been grateful for its battery life and the swappable batteries. Noise-wise, it’s difficult to watch TV while using the Pro without turning up the volume quite a bit and I think we’d have appreciated the slightly lower volume from the Elite. On balance, I think we could have achieved everything with the Elite that we have with the Pro; the battery life and moveable arm have made things more convenient but I’m not sure that convenience is worth the £175 extra.

I also was checking out your videos and bought a similar neck tool which I call the nut cracker for the neck. Thanks again and love your videos!

    Hi
    Thanks for a very informative video
    I’m a massage therapist in Australia and was considering buying the theragun or the G5 machine.
    Do you have any opinions on the g5 massager ?

      Joe Momma ok so dude this promise is really good it does work, I thought it would be used to pretty much recover but it just breaks up the tight muscles than you feel better. After I do that I’m sore for like two days from that because of breaking of the tissue. Next I use my foam roller to go over those muscles a day later or so than I feel fine

      Don’t think your gonna get results after one time use you have to use it on and off

    hi dude, do you think the rotated arm is helpful? I feel you almost could massage wherever you want by using the triangle handle.

    • @BestMassageTech
      @BestMassageTech  4 роки тому +1

      Ye Wang I would agree. Many people value a rostering arm, but especially with the Theraguns I think not as many people actually use it. That being said, it is helpful for applying torque in different areas depending on how easy they are to reach.

      Hulk Beast I assume because moving forward all of their devices are going to be Bluetooth compatible with their app so they are going to phase out all devices without that capability in favor of their 4th generation line of products.

    I checked with the support and they confirmed that even with the app you can’t create your own speed between 1750 and 2400 ppm so you are stuck with 5 presets which you can do in the fun directly. I was expecting speed increase by 10 or so kind of customization

    • @BestMassageTech
      @BestMassageTech  4 роки тому +3

      If that's the case that contradicts everything they have published on their website. They clearly are stating "Customizable Speed Range" in several sections of their product description. www.theragun.com/us/en-us/pro-us-1.html
      Maybe the customer support person was confused on which device you were referencing?

    Bought the Theragun Pro 6 months ago, one of the batteries already dead and not charging. Theragun only give 90 day warranty on its batteries. Totally unacceptable customer service and warranty period. I got sold a poor battery. Stay away from Theragun!! You are better getting a cheaper alternative. Maybe they should spend more on the product quality and less on £M advertising.
