Hey brother, I see the way you use the TheraGun, for recovery. the competitor gun, that I have used for years is for corrective and to inhibit muscles to prepare for a lengthening technique, that offer gliding technology. I see how you use this tool as recovery and want a harder hit. That is awesome. Many ways to use percussion technology.

Went and got myself the 4th gen on discount. I recommend the 4th while you can. 4th comes with 2 removable battery, apart from being quieter everything is the same, plus, it even comes with a nice carrying case.

How well does the removable battery last so far? If they ever spoil (beyond the 90 day warranty) can you ever purchase them again? Seems like the only option is to buy a new gun entirely

I just got one and had to return it because the batteries didn’t charge past 84%. New one seems all good. But now the gen5 is on sale for the same price. I think I’d prefer only one battery and usbc. Gen4 dock and brick having to take battery out is kinda annoying. And now I don’t have faith they’ll last.

  • @federicogianga

Why can't we used them while plugged in? It would make it independent from batteries. Without the possibility of plugging it it while in use we can use the device until the battery reaches all the cycles. In that case we would have to buy another battery and no one assure you you will find the same battery in a few years, so probably you will have to buy another device. Thoughts?

I had my doubts about 150 minutes they claim for each battery.
So a few days ago I timed it. Each time using it I used my phone timer to start and stop the time as I was using it. So a fully charged battery lasted 77 minutes while I used the gun at the low speed. 77 minutes is half of what they are claiming. Have you timed the battery yet? I suggest timing the battery because you might be in for a big surprise. 2:51

WARNING: THIS COMPANY DOES NOT STAND BY THEIR PRODUCT. Mine broke in 2021 after a year of use. Therabody "fixed" it and returned it to me. It went unused for about a year, and then I started using it again on a daily basis. It quickly broke again in a similar way. When I contacted Therabody, they said it was out of warranty so they could not replace it and they no longer do repairs. A $600 product that I thought would basically last indefinitely didn't even last for two years. BUYER BEWARE.

I bought a Theragun Pro 4 on 12/29/22 it never held a charge more than 2 minutes. I charged the batteries it came with- unit did not work. The batteries that they sent as replacements also do not work. I asked for a replacement, they were slow to respond. I asked for a refund and now they’re pretending they didn’t see that request and are trying to replace my unit. Their customer service is awful. DON’T BUY!!!

If you press and hold the button (while off and on) for about 30 secs from memory, it does some sort of reset and starts charging again as normal somehow. Don't know why or what the fault is but I've had it and have heard others doing this so I tried it and it worked. 👍
