www.amazon.com/MITZONE-Upgrade-Performance-Aluminum-Compatible/dp/B09CYNLN86 Amazon says doesn't fit x5 e70 3.0 si, but product description says it does. I installed it on a 07' x5 (e70) no problem.
@@agungpratomo3857 as promised I'll do a one year review, I installed this September '22. These valve covers have the pcv integrated, IMHO that would be the limiting factor on reusing this aluminum one. Additionally the cover gasket will eventually fail as well and leak again, but at leat the cover itself will not warp and installing a replacement gasket is common maintenance ...remember that early gen n52 engines had an aluminum cover from the factory....I know some owners had cut and glued a new pcv on the plastic valve cover, that may be an option on this one as well, personally I'd just buy a new one. Be on the.lookout for the one year review vid, thanks for watching.
Hey Matt! Thanks for watching. I am really happy with it, no leaks at all nor haven't had any issues (No oil light starvation under hard loads etc). I sent a recent oil change to analyze to see if there was any metallic residue from the aluminum cover that was suspended in the oil and the balckstone report came clean. A placebo effect ( ie: added benefit i want to believe) is that the aluminum cover quiets the valvetrain chatter on cold starts. Only thing is to carry over the metallic bracket from the old cover to the mitzune one, as hole tolerances are waaaay off. Thnaks.fornthe reminder, gotta make that 1 year video. Btw, the bmw technician that.came home.to.do the bmw pcv heater recall was impressed with it.
Bro I bought mine on eBay I will receive it soon just ask you if until now if it sill working perfect and what about that Pcv still good and people said valvtronic doesn’t sit very week just to know Thank you
Hi there....so far no issues (+4 months, 3k miles later). The oil leak on the cover hasn't returned and I do not have any vacuum leaks. Engine idles perfectly without any hesitations, so the pcv is doing g its job. That said, i had to carry over the metal bracket that supports the valvetronic motor from the old engine cover, as the holes didn't line up on the one provided.
I'd always listen to a certified ASE mechanic before a random guy in youtube. That said, my x5 has a n52 engine and this valve cover fits, if by ventilation he means a pcv, it does have a built in positive cranckcase ventilation in the valve cover.....round thing on the end of the cover facing the firewall. Hope helps.
Great review but remember hold your phone sideways for a full screen recording.
I am rookie....lol
Would be happy to outsource that aluminum valve cover gasket kit, any links as reference?

Will it last like forever? Theoretically yes, BUT really appreciate your honest review from Owner's point of view

I wanted to see how you like the valve cover after it has been 6 months from your upload? Is it leaking any? Thanks. Matt.

A mechanic told me that it doesn't fit because n52 engine is not compatible as it has no ventilation. Is this true?
