I understand it's your business....but the fact that you are doing this on the side of the road without a lift it's unbelievable....hats off to you....
Thank you very much for this video, it helped me very much.. For much easier removal, disconnect the shocks from lower control arms. This lowers the subframe even more, thereby giving you more room to work with.
Dude, you’ve got the BEST BMW service channel on UA-cam. Thank you for your time and making these videos. Btw, I just realized that I’ve been subscribed to you ever since n52 valve cover gasket diy. Now the tile has come for me to replaced oil pan gasket. I’m also thinking about doing water pump and thermostat at the same time along with engine mounts. I really don’t wanna do this job, but I’m selling my 128i and think new owner would appreciate this service being done
Thank you, glad to hear it, regarding the repairs before sale just fix things that need to be fixed, oil pan gasket would be a big pain to do (check out video on 335i i made for oil pan gasket it’s similar to n52) water pump and thermostat, well if there is no issue there just yet don’t replace it since it wouldn’t add value to the car and those items are expensive. I’d separate those 2 jobs if you decide to do them, no reason to to them both together and higher chance doing something wrong Thanks for watching😉🙌
Nice video, if my 2011 528i here in Los Angeles ever needs a new oil pan/gasket I’ll be calling you forsure! My car will be hitting 200k miles in the next few days🤩🙏🏽
Your videos always have just the right amount of details. Thanks to your E90 328i Valve Cover Gasket replacement video, I felt confident enough to do my own (in the process now). I do have a question about whether to clean the springs under the valve cover - they have a thin, brown, "caked-on" film. Do you recommend cleaning somehow, or leave it? Thanks!
Thanks for this. My 2015 N55 is leaking. I’ve done this on my e46 330ci and e90 328i, but couldn’t find a video for the F30. Looks pretty much like the others.
Very nice work . I wondered if you have a price range for E39 530i oil pan gasket replacement , for sure it’s a job for experience and youth . For now i have absorbent pads in my garage but I occasionally miss them and have to deal with wet spots .
Thanks for the video. A quick question, Why do you need to remove the transmission mount bracket? Do I need to do that for the 2011 535i? Thanks again.
Hello. Mr. Zeiten than you for all video ı watched your all videos. Can ı want something? This car f10 528i 2011, My car is same bmw f10 528i Canyou take a intake manifold gasket replacement video?
Nice video, thank you for showing in detail the work involved, do you know if the 2011 535i F10 have more things involved or if it is pretty much the same? Thank you! Awesome work!
I have P1339 code, Camshaft Position Sensor(Bank 1) on 2012 528i xdrive n20. Replaced both sensor since it's not that expensive, erased the code, but same code keeps popping up and car is sluggish and timing chain makes noise now(not normal). I've checked the timing chain via oil cap, it's now loose and plastic has a chip. I'm sure I will need a new timing chain. Any thoughts on the P1339 code? Removing oil sump does not include lowering subframe(hopefully) just the front axle diff, based on the service manual.
It’s very different on all wheel drive e60, you’ll need to remove both front axles, front drive shaft and differential in order to get access to oil pan gasket
I changed my spark plugs on my bmw 2007 328 I and it will not start it cranks but won't start everything was put back correctly it just turns and won't start wat can be the problem

Thank you, just leave it, the best thing you can do is use 5 min motor flush, will be much better cleaner rather than do it manually
When doing your next oil change
Zeiten LLC Great, thanks

Yes

That was hard.
Thx bro!
👌
Your a beast

Harbor freight tools

It’s just a hoist for any car
