- Today I try using Cataclean to clear the blocked up Catalytic Converter on my Jeep Cherokee/ Liberty. Can I fix it for under $50?? The results are very surprising.

I am from America the state of Michigan to be exact. I have used Rislone Cat cleaner, CRC cat cleaner, and Duralube Cat Cleaner. They all worked, but Cataclean has given the best results.
I add two whole bottles to a half a tank of premium gas, and drive very hard 3000rpms on the freeway, for close to 40 minutes. Then drive it normally until it gets down to 1/8th a tank. Refill back up with premium to 3/4 tank. And get incredible results

Update: The Jeep is still running fine in May 2022. Product added 6+ months ago.

@@trini_boi2414 Yes. It stayed off for 9 months and needed another bottle as customer who bought it didn't bother to use it. Has gone out again now.
Works if you follow the directions,.....1/4tank of gas, 1 bottle of cat cleaner, punch it when you take off and keep the RPMs at 3000, you will feel a difference after about 100 miles

I used one bottle 2 weeks ago. My car really just started seeming like it was trying to “fix itself” 2 days ago after a long day of driving. I’m going to use another bottle this weekend and drive for 30 minutes. Wish me luck
That’s great. Long trips and higher speed driving can really give it a good clean out. Once it’s clear, just add a bottle for maintenance every so often. The Jeep is still going well with it new owners 10 months after adding it. Cheers, Daz.
Just added a bottle of Cataclean to my 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan, Chrysler Grand Voyager in you're country......from The USA here! 🇺🇸 I recently threw a CEL & was going to cost $1,200.00 for a new cat, NOT HAPPENING! 💯 I bought a bottle at $28 and change at Wal-Mart, added fallowing instructions.....within 50 miles the Check Engine Light turned itself off! 🙏
The improvements of the vehicles behaviors is noticeably profound, so much so that I willingly bought another bottle back to back and repeated the steps. I'm now well over 500 miles in since the Cat code triggered the light, the CEL is still off and the Van's running like brand new! Much better acceleration and MPG, I'm going to buy a 3rd bottle to use in my 2012 Chrysler Town & Country as a preventative measure!
This magic in a bottle definitely gets the green light from this Mopar driven home!!! 💯
G'day USA! Excellent news. It's amazing what this product can do. A lot of people think that additives are just a waste of money, but some actually do work and work well. I have put several locals onto this product this year and they have achieved similar results. A friend bought a Jeep Patriot 2.4l cheap from an Auction that was so blocked it would hardly run. After 1 bottle it ran quite smooth and with a second bottle 2 weeks later it now runs like new. Thanks for the info.

Do you feel any difference in terms of driving, I feel my exhausts are partially blocked, i found it hard to revup, does the cat clean help in some ways to unclog the blockage and make the drive smoother? thank you
Yes, all of those things. Think of it as a fuel injector cleaner for your exhaust. It can unblock the mesh filters, EGR Valve and combustion pipes, similar to what Adblue does in Diesel Truck Exhausts.

I sold this particular Car to a friend of mine. The Engine Light came on again after about 6-7 months, it went back out again with another application of Cataclean. Still driving well today.

In your opinion, how long does it stay in the system?
Hi Marvin. It's still running great after about 4 months. Once the Catalyst is clean, it should function well until it fouls up again, which will depend on driving conditions. Regular hwy use would be better than short suburban trips.

I bought some last Monday, put it in Tuesday, took a 22 year old vehicle (sitting 5 years) back to an Emissions Inspection Site Thursday and it passed after being rejected a week earlier. 1 thing I did notice is the gas mileage is phenomenal! So far I have driven 7 days on a tank of gas. Tomorrow will be day 8 and I have really been all over the place. Now when I bought the car January 9th filled it up (guy had it on E)(yellow light on) and drove it about 37 miles that gas needle went down a bit under the white line after about 16 Exits. I said, “oh no I just bought a Gas Guzzler”.
I bought cataclean a week ago for my 2000 chevy blazer. It starting running rough, shaking when accelerating from a complete stop, and it will backfire every once in awhile. I'm scared to use the cataclean because people have told me if my converter was completely clogged the cataclean will catch my blazer on fire. What's your thoughts?
I have never heard of that happening as you would need some source of spark. I don't believe the additive to be any more flammable than the exhaust emissions that are already present, which is a very flammable gas. Also, if your vehicle is still running, it can't be fully blocked, as a blocked up Cat would give the same result as putting a potato up the exhaust- It just won't run. I guess if they have sold hundreds of thousands of gallons of the stuff, it should be quite safe to use. Good Luck.

@@DownunderDaz So I tried the cataclean and didn't even make it a mile down the road. The blazer lost all power, died, and won't start.
@@aprilsilva2709 That's a shame. It must be really blocked. Not enough of the product would have made it to the Convertor to have made any difference on such a short trip. If you can get it to run again, I would just let it idle for 15 minutes before driving off, so the blocked mesh filter softens up first.
You may want to change your plugs coils if it carries individual coils. I have my 2005 envoy at the shop to have my cat cut out. The blockage is so bad that cataclean nor the duralube cat cleaner is working.
