(Knights?) I have 'The Arabian Nights' illustrated by Earle Goodenow, 1946, and probably worth $25.00 on a good day. Every other page has lovely black/white smaller illustrations and there are 9 or 10 full page color illustration plates in it too. Check EBay for comparisons, but people always think things are worth more than they are.
Why would that family member be mad they went through that house if she is not worried about it at all obviously her family’s belongings are still in it and she didn’t care to go through it. Many years ago I worked nightshifts at what long ago was a military base during the Cold War. One such night I went and looked into an overgrown bunker above ground. In what once had been a briefing room of sorts I found a huge map of pretty much the entire GDR and parts of West-Germany - complete with markings for approach corridors, no-fly-zones, radar sites, you name it. And to top it off, in another room nearby there even was some leftover military papers from that time that seemingly had been forgotten when the base was abandoned.

I had a painting made from Èdouard manet that went down my family history but i lost it and never saw it again
I genuinely wonder how much money is sitting in abandoned buildings around the world..

15 things found in empty mansions “in a abandoned U-Haul locker!”
How much is the price for a fat roach that eat flying bats???
$6.
Sorry but if I found that money In a abandoned house that obviously no one cared about imma take it. They didn’t even have the decency to go threw it and save pictures or anything. They probably had a bunch of money in the bank too. Finders keepers?? You already broke into someone’s house might as well take the money. Smh
