    Man hurry up and finish, I can't wait to see the finish product. I'm gathering up knowledge before I start mine. I have a bench seat so it won't be so complex.

      Thanks man, it’s a slow process everyday after work but we are getting there. Good luck on your console.

      Thanks man I really appreciate it. I completely understand but sometimes it’s not a bad thing to step back for a little bit and assess the situation and then get back after it. Good luck buddy!!

    I just got a 90 Chevy Silverado single cab. How difficult will it be to add a custom center console???

    • @kesselsgarage
      @kesselsgarage  Рік тому +1

      Not too hard, you don’t have to be super elaborate. If you have a bench seat it can be as simple as a small box with two cup holders. There are some companies that make them but are really $$$. If you plan on doing it yourself the best thing to do is make lots of sketch’s and cardboard templates to make sure it’s perfect. I use 3/4 mdf board for the majority and 1”x6” wood boards for any structure as they are stronger.

      @@kesselsgarage I'm planning on building an figure out how to put a decent system into it. But I'll have to figure that how eventually... Thinking 10s or 12s

      I am assuming the floor heat will still be effective with the console in place? I have a 85 gmc c15 so this looks nice so far.

    • @kesselsgarage
      @kesselsgarage  Рік тому

      Thanks! Which part is too wide? By the seats or the pedals or the whole thing. I think everything fit ok during the test fit but we will check before we finish wrapping it.
