For the Xmen, I want them to do a series of 4 shows, each focusing on one Xman. Each from a different genre. Heist movie for Gambit, Robin Hood type for Storm, High School Comedy for Jubilee, Musical for Dazzler, or what ever...go back to doing genre movies that happen to have Xmen...
Each show will have a teaser at the end of that person being recruited (like just show a Wheel roll into frame with an X on it) Each will also have scenes where a news story is heard about the "They are taking our jobs, our homes..." to build up the mutant hate in the backgeound...
Then have the movie be a "God Loves, Man Kills) retelling...
@GeeksandGrub really? Out of the 4 xmen you chose, only one is a really known and main charachter. I don't think the general audience would care about a dazzler or jubilee story at all. Storm, most def, Gambit can be cool too

Couldn't disagree more. We don't need another "verse". Just tell a superhero story. One at a time and if there are multiple good movies, then try to tie them in. They're trying way too hard to forecast out five to ten years of fan reactions. Too many variables. Just tell a good superhero story. Just one.
That's not the problem. That didn't make them tone down Gorr the god Butcher and make him a human painted white. That was on the directors and Kevin himself. Marval can't fix themselves because they hired cultists and people with little to no talent who never read a comic in their lives and openly Brag about not knowing about the source material in multiple interviews.
The reality is everyone that made good MCU movies were the producers and showrunners and paramount studios, not the directors. Marvel and Disney lacks talent, and they purposefully didn't want talent, they want Check boxes (Identity) and big names. They didn't learn their lesson I.E> Pedro Pascal as Reed despite fans wanting John.
@ryan, I would love that too. Each movie/show should be someones passion project. With the approach it'll be the last thing you ever make. Not with the idea a cliff hanger has to be shoved in at the end.

I would agree, but they’ve put in so much already to set this up, so they may as well try to make it good. Once they’re done with this, they should maybe take a step back and go back to making actual normal superhero movies on a smaller scale.

Prioritizing quantity over quality. Terrible writing, fast tracking characters that general audiences don't care about and constant pandering to the vocal minority on social media. At this point a hard reset is the only viable option in my opinion.
I was so thrilled to see you back posting content, you’re one of my absolute favs for explaining this genre! You know so much, but don’t make me ever feel stupid for not knowing it…and make it so easy! I do have a special request? I kmow ZERO of the X-men history, backstory, etc…nothing except watching the movies in theaters. I’ve watched this new X-men 97 and I get ZERO from it, I don’t know what’s going on…who’s doing what to whom and why, all lost to me. But I watch the breakdowns on UA-cam and they act like it’s the most amazing thing ever, the story lines/characters/etc…all perfection/chef’s kiss! Things like “this is exactly like the comic run from 1742 (exaggeration here) by Joe Schmoe and that was amazing…this is even better”,etc… I’ve sincerely tried, but all lost to me. Could you do a series wrap explainingWTH(eck) I watched?

When it comes to the Marvel news or the future the critical drinker, Nerdrotic and others in that Circle are the only ones saying the truth about Marvel. I do like your channel and watch when I can but you don't call out the feminism and the fact that males are made to look stupid while the women and girl bosses are put on a pedestal.

Im not gonna lie, Marvel has kinda ruined the whole multiverse thing. If you pay attention to the behind the scenes of Disney, they don't provide much hope that they'll right these wrongs.
They should rehire (or keep) Jonathan Majors. He received universal acclaim. Crazy to drop him for unintentionally injuring her finger (for anyone that doesn't know, intentional assault charges were dropped, so even the court believes he accidentally hurt her while trying to get away, literally running away for blocks)

They should've just did great stand alone projects. Then Loki season 2, The Multiverse Of Madness with a Multiverse villain & not the The Scarlet Witch, & Secret Wars with The Beyonder (Pre-Retcon) as the villain would've tied it all together. The future leaders of The MCU should be Doctor Strange, Loki, & The Fantastic Four.
See, I've been sayin this shit for a long time now. Dooms needs to eliminate Kang, and I think this would be the perfect excuse to bring in one of the biggest McGuffins in Marvel Comics: The Ultimate Nullifier lol

while i do agree that if they have to replace kang with a new character comepletely, Doom is the logical choice, and having him come from another reality with a fully established back story, i mean then he's basically Thanos, right? Like the way you explain it, basically Reed takes on the Hulk's role by warning everyone he is coming, then boom he shows up in secret wars, he battles and beats people while monologuing expository backstory and well.. it just feels like been there done that. I wish Marvel had the balls to go for the like the tripple fake out or so, you set up Kang as this big bad, the avengers and such have never faced anyone who has these powers, we need to think outside the box and -bam, Doom or whoever comes along, squashes Kang as easily as stepping on an ant, however he's no friend, he plans to rule the universe. If he was able to beat Kang so easily, what chance do the avengers have against- oh wait, now the Beyonder or Annihilus or whoever shows up and bitch slaps doom back down the ladder. Long ago, during the celestial war, the celestials and some other cosmic entities placed some bets or whatever on how things would turn out and etc. Each opposing side couldn't intervene directly, but they could manipulate things for certain outcomes or whatever. these are forces even people with cosmic level powers cant comprehend, some kind of lovecraftian crazy gods shit. They don't care about the lives of the living beings and whatnot throughout the mutliverse, they can just reform countless new universes by snapping their fingers, no one stands a chance. thats it, the end, its over for everyone. THEN you bring in Doom or Onslaught or whoever your fav choice is for big bad, and they manage to syphon that power from one of these cosmic entities, hell it could even be Galactus, like give him a new origin. He starts off as Quasar or some shit, pulls a rogue and absorbs all the abilities and transforms into Galactus, an all powerful being with an insatiable hunger for more power and so forth, like some kind of living blackhole at the center of his body or something, but the trick is, even with all this power, its now trapped inside the body of a mortal being, and that being can be killed, so the avengers and so forth stand an actual chance of winning again, if slim at best. So reed and Doom gotta team up, maybe create the ultimate nullifier or whatever, they get one shot to take him down, or maybe thanos teams upo with some good guys like the Guardians, the Marvels and the Nova Corps to track down the Heart of the Universe, whatever. Thats how i think it would really make a big come back. As far as the spiderverse stuff, I dont think thats gonna happen. I like the animated films, but i hope they stay in their own universe, and sonys spin off movies are part of a universe that gets pruned or destroyed by incursion. Im ok with garfield and mcguire showing up, but beyond that, no ties to anything Sony has been working on. Id much rather them lean heavier into the cosmic stuff now, which admittedly has always been Marvel's weakest stories, but it opens up way more possibilities in the future to tell more personal grounded stories as well as going into the more paranormal and dimensional (hel, heaven, etc) if they are gonna push characters like Blade and the Midnight Suns to the limelight.
We need Doctor Doom as the main villain who's killed the council of Kang. With Spider-Man leading the Spider-Society in the battle against Doom while the Fantastic Four are recruiting Heroes to join the fight.

Completely disagree. They need to use Loki season 2’s ending to get rid of Kang for good. He is now the God of Stories and they can finish up Kang’s story with a 1 min dialogue scene when ever it needs to happen. DP 3 can kill the Fox universe. FF can be a simple and GOOD superhero movie that puts them on the path to adapting Hickman’s Avengers and New Avengers. Multiverse of Madness did all the work to set that up already.. it’s a very easy fix. Completely scrap Kang and his storyline and move forward with the Incursions
They need 2 kick out the toxic/bigots who hate fun/comics, especially "writers" who just want 2 piss of comic fans and than play victim and the ones who pretend 2 care aboot X group, but than only use them as propaganda mouthpieces and/or shields 2 hide behind when get any form of critique. Than hire ppl who actually love the source material and some good writers/directors. DC should do the same. Heck shouldn't just count for movies, should be case for comics as well.
Marvel is stupid, they should've took a practical approach. Hire young actors to play X-Men and Fantastic four, and use these stories to carry in the next 10 year movie arc for the MCU. This would give prominent MCU characters like Spiderman, Iron Man, Captian America, etc, time to breathe. They then could be recasted with younger actors. But nope, they keep using these old ass actors and these tired story lines.
Personally I feel like the downfall began with Larson and Captain Marvel, the second thing was She Hulk happened and it was just complete nonsense between it being more about fashion dating finding love and A pathetic scene with Megan the stallion, Antman 3 was the 3rd major mistake and dropping the ball with Kang adding to that stupidity with Majors and his crazier than A bag of cats girlfriend single handedly destroying any chance of redeeming Kang, unfortunately I really don't think the MCU will recover from this it will either end up being one of 2 outcomes , the first will be just random movies involving certain story lines from the comics with no real outcome just basically cannon fodder, the second will be the complete end of the MCU. I do like Rob's idea though I just don't think it will happen unfortunately with Sony still owning Spider man and the utter trash that Sony puts out, I think A good place to look as well would be the Hulk World War Hulk story and also the Knull story but once again with Knull Sony has the rights to Venom so it mosst likely wont happen. It really just feels like since Tony Stark died the MCU took a dirt nap as well.🤷🤦
Kang has been ruined. Hard to be taken seriously at this point. He’s been killed off/beaten a bunch of times already. Often in a stupid way too. They’d be better off replacing him completely. Also, Disney,as a whole, rarely ever hire top-level actors/writers/directors , they only want yes-men!
All they need to do is bring back the Russo Brothers. Marvel has tanked ever since they left and they arguably made the best films, Winter Soldier, Civil War, Infinity War, End Game, that was peak Marvel, and the Russo's were at the helm.

Marvel did Majors dirty , he did the character Kang justice. If the writers did a better job writing AWQ maybe the movie would have made more money for I he gets a retrial and sues NYPD and the D.A.

People feel overdosed of interconnected superhero media, which is why some of us don't want to enter the Comicbook Sphere in the first place .
Marvel need to close the multiverse (at least for a while) and focus on sparse, good standalone movies that eventually can culminate in crossovers.
P.D.: I love Huge Jackman, but bringing him back is a mistake and I'll die on that hill.

I really do love the idea of the Fantastic Four leading all the heroes against Dr. Doom after he's taken out the Kang Dynasty... But it also opens up the door for Fiege and other Marvel executives to push rewrites and script changes into the movie just so that they can backtrack and fix their multiverse /tva/ Kang issues just because they didn't entirely think everything through. So many movies have had massive changes made to them due to studios trying to put in their own input to the director's vision, thus, changing the entire tone and plot of some of these movies. I would really love to see a 1963 fantastic four movie done in its own unique style and plot without having to piece together every little thing that Marvel studios has dropped the ball on.
I honestly think at this point it might just be better for Kevin feige himself to create an hour long, MANDATORY VIEWING, special presentation laying out what his original plan was, all of the reworks they had to do, and most importantly, how they want to move forward, why they want to move in that direction, and how they're going to do it. It. Have it be its own thing that maps everything together and ties it all back into itself without weighing down any other movies or projects with the unnecessary mess. It doesn't even have to be feige, he could be joined by Deadpool who is literally calling him out for everything with a whiteboard and marker and eraser. Make it something fun and interesting of course, but don't weigh down other movies by having them be the maid that cleans everything up
My thought is they are over saturating the market with comic book movies period. I love comic movies(especially marvel) but there can be to much and quality starts to waiver due to it
Superhero fatigue? No. Shitty movie fatigue is more like it 👍 I’m actually happy the thunderbolts changed writers- means they’re starting to see it takes good writers to make good stories (Loki for instance was phenomenal)
You know… I don’t have much sympathy for marvel right now because they did this, unprovoked for the most part, and even when they speak up nowadays they expect one saving grace to help the entire universe, let’s not change or tweak anything that has changed over the last 5 years no let’s just throw something else against the wall with less effort than before it HAS to work eventually. Like no let’s take it back to the basics, bring some of the random strings you have out there closer home, a unified story, let that get some legs and some love, AND THEN you can do your multiverse or doom patrol or whatever tf you want to soft reboot with again but damnit give us something to enjoy before blowing it tf up
The issue with this idea is that Sony is as greedy as it is dumb. They'd never let the MCU borrow Spiderman for that long and Disney wouldn't tolerate SOny's greedy demands. Never gonna happen.
Love the video Rob but this is the problem. You can come up with something far better than Marvel could’ve dream of. The writers and Kevin Fiege are bad. They can’t come up with a half decent story.
Marvel needs to just copy a few comics as faithfully as they can to movies from Hickmans FF run leading into what they should call avengers 5 “time runs out” and then secret wars which should be two parts. Let’s go doomstat!
They need to stop blaming kang (Johnathan Majors) as the big bad for the reason marvel fell off. They were flopping long before kang came into the picture. The characters are not the problem. Poor writing and bad filmmaking is the reason marvel is flopping. They are so dam concerned with everything connecting that they don’t even care about telling a great story. They are sacrificing storytelling for connectivity and continuity. Just scrap the whole idea of connected universes and just get back to telling great stories in standalone movies.
With so many big events that are X-Men related on Disney+, in the games industry, in the comics and within the MCU itself I suspect they're going to switch from their original trajectory to bring the X-Men into the MCU sooner rather than waiting until after Secret War.
This would be the best time to bring live back into this channel with just an episode breakdown of X-Men 97, if it wouldn’t burn you out

So let me try to understand what you're trying to say Rob....You would like/expect/imply that Sony should spend the money to hire good writers who may have actually read a comic book or other story with arching characters and then have the sense to not edit to oblivion or scrap in order to use it as a tax write off? .....oh man, I have big dream too
But what about Avengers 5? Would the threat still be the army of Kang variants? If they’re taken out by Doom at the end of FF movie, then they would already be off the table..
I would have Kang or Doom to approach the Inheritors and give them a taste in what Spider-Man taste like. It get them hooked like a drug, and they give them a device to travel the multiverse in hunting spider people. They could serve a the main antagonist in the next Into the Spider Verse movie, which can connect to MCU.
Honestly I believe that Deadpool is going to succeed due to what I call the Barbie effect. Marvel& Disney is going to let Deadpool call out marvel&disney like an apology made into a movie.

I think their one shot for anything logical would be to pivot into Avengers vs X-Men as the next big crossover and use it as a multiversal reset and let everyone miss the comic book movies for s few years so theyre welcomed back
