- Two hour walking tour of Downtown Montreal. Montreal is the second-most populous city in Canada, and most populous city in the Canadian province of Quebec. Montreal is one of the most bilingual cities in Canada, with over 59% of the population able to speak both English and French.
Our walk starts in front of Notre Dame Basilica in the historic district of Old Montreal, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The church is next to the Saint-Sulpice Seminary and faces the monument in memory of Paul de Chomedey, founder of Montreal in Place d'Armes square.
Leaving the square, we make our way down the cobblestone roads towards Montréals famous Crew Collective Cafe. This café is undeniably among the most beautiful spots in all of Montreal. Located in the venerable and grand former headquarters of the Royal Bank of Canada - once the tallest building in the British Empire - in the heart of Old Montreal, the high ceilings, marble floors and brass cashier counters will surely blow you away.
Leaving the soaring ceilings of Crew Cafe, we head towards Rue Saint-Paul Street, the oldest street in Montreal, and one of the most picturesque in the city. Paved in 1672, the cobblestone artery is home to many historic greystone buildings, which are emblematic of Montreal. While walking down Saint-Paul Street, you’ll encounter all manner of shops, galleries and restaurants. It is also a pleasure just to stroll down the narrow street, which runs parallel to the Old Port waterfront. Eventually, you’ll hit Place Jacques-Cartier, a square named after the eponymous explorer who claimed Canada for France in 1535.
The Sailors Church officially named Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours Chapel ("Our Lady of Good Help") is one of the oldest churches in Montreal, it was built in 1771 over the ruins of an earlier chapel. The church is located at 400 Saint Paul Street East at Bonsecours Street, just north of the Bonsecours Market in the borough of Ville-Marie (Champ-de-Mars metro station).
The Old Port of Montreal (French: Vieux-Port de Montréal) is the historic port of Quebec that dates well before the formation of Canada. Located adjacent to Old Montreal, it stretches for over 2 km (1.2 mi) along the Saint Lawrence River. It was used as early as 1611, when French fur traders used it as a trading post.
Quartier des Spectacles is an arts and entertainment district located in the eastern section of Downtown Montreal, designed as a centre for Montreal's cultural events and festivals. The Quartier des spectacles is a member of the Global Cultural Districts Network. With a total area of almost one square kilometre, the Quartier is bounded by City Councillors Street to the West, Berri Street to the East, Sherbrooke Street to the North and René Lévesque Boulevard to the South, encompassing all of the district known as Montreal's Latin Quarter.

Boston here, Montreal is my getaway, many visits over the years, thanks for the great portrayal of being on foot in this old and charming place, will return soon.
Моя дочь живет в Монреале 25 лет, я была пять раз, в восторге от этого прекрасного города. Но жаль, в последнее посещение на улицах много бомжей, портят весь облик города. Но любовь к этому городу навсегда!
Well done 👏 This video showed me locations I've never seen before, even though I've visited Montreal more than 10 times ..

Montreal only 0003% blond ladies in Montreal ............not so good for the international tourism
What a weird comment...
montrez les rues trouées, les rues sales, les bâtiments délabrés, un métro souvent en panne (ligne verte ,particulièrement) non respect des francophones .et violence. le français est la seule langue officielle du Québec
