@@alexwalkush9786 I mean, he is "wasting" his own money. And every other card that is not destroyed/damaged gets a raise in value. So in a way other people even gain something (albeit very small) out of it.
There is no victim except this own wallet, although the thing with Nick's card was a bit over the top, if they actually agreed beforehand. Then again, it's his own money.
This whole Pokemoncard thing is just like the art market, with the artificially inflated prices to raise value of literal worthless things to such absurd amounts.
Chance is literally being the joker and it's amazing.

@Matt Ryan Never said I never cared for them. I have the full set of X-men Ultra Fleer '96 in a binder somewhere along with a ton of mtg cards. Just back in 2000 the Charizard was worth $30 and the rest were below that. People online all of a sudden are acting like they're going to send in every card to get a PSA grade, we all know that isn't gonna happen.
