I sent in two boxes of first editions and I only got 6 cards out of all the ones that I sent then there was about 40 of them and only six were rated at 8. The rest were below

Anyone that knows the slightest bit about pokemon/TCG collecting is definitely raging while watching this. Hearing them price everything assuming it will get PSA 10 and everyone believes it lmao
Yep that's pretty cringe... Just because you pull it from the pack does not guarantee PSA10. The card may have edge ware, scratching from the machines, off center, you name it. They're also WAYYYY off on their prices. When you look on eBay you're support to sort by competed and sold listings, not what some yahoo lists it for.
Not only that but these prices they are getting are no where near accurate. Still profited from the box tho

When he's explaining why that Magneton is so hard to get out of nine or a 10 it has nothing to do with the centering it has everything to do with the amount of holographic on it the same reason Chansey is worth so much at a 10
Actually the reason it has a low population in psa 10 has to do with neither of those reasons. Magneton almost always has print lines, and those will usually bring it down to a 9.

Keep in mind that when they say the price you should halve it(because theres NO SHOT its gonna be psa 10) and people wont pay top price, they'll negotiate,then remove grading fees and ebay selling cost from it.Still a really massive pull though for collectable value

But thats if they are PSA 10, then you've gotta subtract the cost for sending them in, actually being able to sell them all, sure its money in the bank but its also an unstable commodity seing as though many more are seing the rising prices, sending their cards in to be graded, thus decreasing the value by flooding the market

My guess is, as with most fads, the market will saturate pretty quickly.. certainly within a year is my guess. Could veryyy well be wrong about that. Just a guess
@@michaelegan5581 Yeah. And plus, right now PSA is super backed up so they jacked up their grading prices. I've had some cards sent out for 5 months now and they're just stuck in the process. Sure, it's fun to think about the potential value of these cards as a 10, but chances are even if they did get them graded most would come back 8's or 9's due to print lines/centering, etc.
