The "85" Reds were one of my favorite baseball teams of all time. After three disastrous seasons, including a 101 loss season in 1983, they came out of nowhere and challenged the Dodgers for the NL West Title pretty much to the end of the season. Great times.
Dave Parker was truly a 5-tool player and one of the best players in MLB in the 1970s. But his career stats probably aren't impressive enough to get him into the Hall of Fame.
Dave Parker, " The Cobra" Was the "Best Player" in baseball for 5 years straight. 1975-1980.
Lots of HR in this game, Parker was on fire 🔥 in 1985 wasn’t he. He seemed to hit more hr as he got older.
