4:38 Assault Strobe is on Arena, but you can't craft it. The only way to get it is conjured out of the spellbook of Tome of the Infinite. The same is true of Ponder, Force Spike, and Fog. (Yes, this is stupid.)
i think jims plays vs gruul aggro were a little loose. not taking the path over tune was for sure a mistake, plus not using fragment on the 2 drop was too conservative (he still would have lost, but still, not valuing your life total in those kind of games is really risky) . you need to save life and interact in that match up, being greedy with trying to make value plays is a fast way to lose
Yeah, tune in that situation had me tilted. And he should have used Jace's bounce more liberally during that match to manage his opponent's creatures. It's REALLY good to bounce one of their Divine Purged creatures that just taxes the crap out of them. Tempo is how you stabilize in this kind of deck and THEN you can start grabbing up the draw to keep you ahead until your opponent gives up or you beat them down.
35:37 I would keep a 7 land card hand just for the chance to make someone wiff on the turn 1 thought seize. Absolutely break an opponent before your first turn.
Jim: kill Karn i love it
Karn in the corner: Bark bark*what did i do?*
Ten New Brews right into a Freshly Brewed? Keep the brews coming, friend.
Superfriends are always fun
You lose everytime turn 3…”superfun”

You are the best jim, thanks for everything
Yay superfriends! And with some of the all time classics as well!
Damn that mug goes hard
One day WotC will release normal versions of cards that are only on the client in nontraditional styles and Jim will be very happy.
One day
They'll all be mythic to craft common paper cards

Regarding the first one, he did explicitly say that was probably wrong at the start of game 3

@@andrewp6738 yeah but he kept saying it was "maybe" wrong. it was certainly wrong
36:30 Magic as Richard Garfielf intended

They are going to name Teferi hero of Dominaria
Sweet freshly brewed ep!! Whats the draw to the superfriends version of UW control over the version we played against in the last match?
30:25 - I bet they name the wandering emperor
Reprieve the l.coating would have bought you another turn without losing a land no?
They're naming purge
Games were over too fast :( this was a fun deck to watch
😀
Jim is 40?? Damn.. looks late 20s early 30s at most shitt

Whos is it who makes the theme tunes?
Wouldn’t be surprised if it were him (and maybe fam).
Skatune Network (bottom left corner during theme)
he hired them to do themes for a bunch of the different shows he does
@skatunenetwork
I'm honestly just uninterested in historic or any format with Modern Horizen cards except maybe for legacy. Historic used to be so cool
