In game 1, you should have gone all face with vein ripper and sorin sac the mutevault which would put them at 2 so they cant even target veinripper or else they die
I love grief, because it creates a highly intricate, interactive game before the game even starts. It's a very positive card. They should find a way to print cards where you make decisions about playing them before you draw them, that would make the format even healthier. God willing, soon we wont have to include lands in our decks anymore.
I think the thing about Rings of Power is that as a TV show, deviations from the source material are a lot worse in comaprison to the movies. The Peter Jackson movies kind of have an excuse where things need to be cut or changed on account of how movies work, but shows give you much more time that deviating is a bigger sin. It's fine for a casual audience because they're not really gonna care, but it's a hard sell for diehard Tolkien fans cause a tv shows are better for long term storytelling. Also I hate Grief.
It’s important to note that Amazon does not have the rights to The Silmarillion, so the background for this is the appendixes of LotR and LotR itself. I understand folks not like changes, but it’s sorta like the MCU; they take the base level stuff and change some stuff. I get it though
Yeah this list needs to run ephemerate and reanimate big missed opportunity there. Mardu energy is tough to beat. You should try playing dimir tempo in timeless. It’s a pretty strong deck and it’s pretty fun. Rings of power season 2 is a lot better imo.

Responding to Thoughtsieze with Brainstorm is such a fantastic interaction
I was hoping to see Saint Elenda in play. Alas...
Was looking forward to more timeless content and I am very happy!
Edit: love me some vascular slasher LOL
Love the timeless content.
Thanks Jim
I play vein ripper in standard. Turn 4 ripper is still a beast.

The thumbnail photo makes me uncomfortable.
First hi Jim
Jim Davis
You definitely don't "have to play grief in your black deck", grief is not even that good in the format.
