As a Designer, I tried it and was very disappointed. I had hoped it would produce screens much more intuitively and closer to prompt inputs, but as you pointed out, it generates inappropriate screens, can't adjust the cut off text in key components like buttons, and the amount of modification and correction a designer has to do to what's generated to make it sensible is too much. Might as well continue in Figma plugins and not lose time in waiting for the right screens to generate. Also, the color palette 🎨 is too basic, designs too basic, styling too basic, and specific areas to fix are not as easy to do (i.e click on text to fix but interact pop up appears). Then, you can't yet export to Figma to refine so it's pointless. Text copy is lacking, have to go in and replace many images and doesn't incorporate animations. Their prompting needs more training and alignment to input with its screen output to the level of MJ or Chat GPT outputs before it's usable to replace some designing workflow. They should reconsider removing the paywall for Auto designer until they get enough UX to improve the product and UI. It's too early in its infancy to warrant paid access for now.
I definetly agree to a lot of those points! Just keep in mind that it’s really not aimed at professional designers at this time. Their target is more non-designers that want to generate early ideas and concepts. Not final, production-ready designs. Figma is still the go to for the rest of us.

Thanks for the presentation ! 😊 I was wondering if you can also generate specific and isolated element and then add it on the frame, like features, search bar, calendar,..? Your exemples only demonstrate several screens generated from the project prompt

Amazing video showing the pros and cons.... more cons than pros imo. I think for them to charge $12 for an experimental tool which I can't even test before I pay, sounds like trying to take advantage. While there are other tools on the market that provide trials. No chance of spending 12 dollars and realizing that the tool only delivers the basics of the basics. Uizard Business model = fail
The fact that it can't export any of the designs to anything usable makes it completely useless. It only lets you export as a PNG, JPEG and PDF. How is that helpful?
