I'm sure this'll go over like a fart in a tax haven, but Brother used to make some great Spyderco clones. They're still the only ones I know that did a p'kal clone, and their manix 2 xl was better than any legit ones I've handled. They made it with more of a non-caged ball lock (like on the Q-ball, poliwog and dodo) but it was oblong like a capsule instead of spherical.

I've seen the manix clone never had it in hand though
