It's so great to find all of this Italian recipes on your channel. I'm Italian, so I know most of the food, but I don't know how to prepare it. Your channel is really gonna help me out :)
I modified it to my liking (by adding basil leaves, black pepper, paprika, salt), and it was delicious! Even my mother loved it (and she usually dislikes what I make haha!) Thanks for sharing!
My friends, this dish is so great for this cold weather...time to try something new...I miss your accent, but I love the new format, as long as the videos keep coming I'll take anything. Have a great weekend❤️
I know you don't take recipe requests anymore, but you should do a full video of just tips and tricks in the vegan kitchen. I love your recipes, but you are only channel I have found that actually gives real advice, especially for vegans!
Wonderful! I simply can't wait to try this recipe take tons of pictures once served and share with friends and family on both facebook and instagram, all credit towards you of course ;)
Um I love spelt!! But I love barley too. Great recipe! Will definitely give it a try since I have everything in the kitchen. Speaking of Barley, have you had barley water before? They are so good!
+The Vegan Corner Yet another awesome recipe, featuring a favourite grain of mine - pearl barley (I still can't manage to find hulled barley anywhere :( )... Anyway, keep making those awesome videos! P.S. I'd really appreciate a video/post on 'Recommended Knives & Related Equipment'. Anything from brands to handle size, sharpeners, etc. I feel like all of the knives in my kitchen need to be sharpened, if not completely replaced, lol. Thank you! :)
tamcon72 I was going to look up farro, but the grain the actual video more like barley grain, as opposed to farro. Granted the two are not that dissimilar, my opinion is purely observation-based. I could be wrong, of course. :)
I know that it isn't relevant for this video but i really wanted to know which kind or brand of cheese you use in your other recipes (eggplant parm, baked pasta, etc.). i live in Europe and find it very hard to find a good one! thank you so much for answering!
+Elena Everdeen We always add extra info in the description below the videos. If you have a look at the description of the eggplant parmesan you'll find the answer to your question :)
Hey dear vegan friends! Love your channe and you are the best! Saving us all from the "nasty" calories :) I wish you lot's of luck and success and I am sure you will make it! But whyyy whyyy you don't talk anymore at the videos? Your voice is what is making your channel unique, please be more like yourself and less like the "trend" :) That's said with all of my love of course :))
+anika ts Thanks! I never stopped talking in the videos :) These are extra videos and are done using a different standard, but Monday videos will always remain the same.
I find that letting the soup cook for at least 25-30 minutes makes the liquid taste better. But maybe it's just me ;) Also, I like adding some lemon juice before serving of every soup it gives it extra flavor if you don't like putting salt in your dishes.
Ahh not gonna lie, I was a little disappointed when I didn't hear "Hello and welcome to the Vegan Corner" hahah we just have to get used to it I guess :D
It's not the same without your voice. It really gives the recipes something unique and special. We look forward to the funny commentary. How does the music go with the recipes? Please use your voice to explain the recipes again. Using it only on Monday just isn't going to work for me;) I didn't even finish wathing the video when I noticed there was no voice to it. From reading the comments, others feel the same way. Give us what we want baby, haha.
Great recipe! missed hearing your voice though. actually, it might be a good thing because your voice is very nice and it can be distracting! lol please go back to narrating/ voice over! love your voice! :)

I absolutely need to try this. Which legumes go well with this recipe? White beans or chickpeas seem to be a good choice.
+No One You are correct, those are two fantastic choices!
+The Vegan Corner Thanks! Very kind of you to answer questions =)
Looks perfect for winter days!!! Is spelt is the same as pearled barley?
Never mind I saw someone asked the same question :-)

+Todor “Trey” Koev Can you find farro, because that's what the grain in this recipe is, not barley!

Yes they are
Are spelt and barley the same thing?
+Nicole Rowe Not really, but they are very similar and you can use both for this recipe.
Can you do some kind of tartlet/small dessert tart in the future? :D
Deberían por favor subtitular algunos vídeos:(
I miss the guy talking ☺️
Add him back and the song too please 🙏🏻
