Filipinos have advantage because at young age they are taught to sing National anthem every morning in school that's how they practice their vocals
Aside from Filipinos passion to music Karaoke is the biggest factor why many Filipinos are good singers and almost evry household in the Philippines have karaoke machine

Singing is part of Filipino culture. Throughout the country all year round, all ages, one way or another you'd see some singing events/contests in schools, malls, homes, parties, tv shows, tiktok and communities (talking of singing contests in small neighborhoods (we call that barangay), town/city, provincial to national). Singing is like a cultural Filipino DNA.

We sing no matter what our circumstances are. It's a stress-reliever for us Filipinos. Even if you're a bad singer, you will be teased, of course, but not in a mean way. With the professional singers, expectations are really high.

Singing is a way of Filipinos in getting away with problems, stress in life. Unlike in western countries if a person has a problem often times will resorts to drugs or being alone and has mental problems. Many westerners are very serious in life problems thus lots of shootings and mass shootings and road rage cases.

Even before when there was no karaoke yet, the Filipinos already loved to sing in any event. Singing contests are everywhere, at home, even in the bathroom, in schools, offices, barrios, barangays, you name it we have it, and even in the remotest part of the country.
I love that.
FYI mam, sir, Karaoke was invented by a Filipino, Bert del Rosario (it was originally called OMB-One Man Band) and he has a patent for it.

Music is really my moodsetter I randomly sing whenever I got bored or I was home alone. Idk about the other country but I grow up here in the Philippines with music around me every day either its from home, neighbors, malls, school or home.
