what is involved with medical clearance? what is looked for @thesavvyexpat
You are a very smart young man, I've been watching you grow on UA-cam and I am impressed! Maybe looking you up soon as I plan to retire in the next couple of years.
Unless I read it incorrectly, a pension is NOT a requirement for an SRRV visa. The deposit is higher ($20,000USD) with no pension instead of $10,000USD if one has a pension. If this is in fact true, I'm wondering why that option was not mentioned in her presentation.
This shit expensive af
Fantastic Information! Salamat Po 🎉! 🎉
Did the lot and land lease conversion - major pain in the A$$ -
Or you can deal directly with the PRA and they will do the same processing of the SRRV at no charge.
PRA provides FREE CONSULTANTS. NO COST, NADA.
Why don't you interview one of them???? No free meal or kick back I guess.
Yes it's all about America!
There are other nationalities who retire there, believe it or not!
One great thing about the Philippines is that there no real enforcement mechanism, particularly if you live in a province. Consequently, you could do nothing, and never be challenged
Great video. I'm sold on Heidi and company.
Is there any new word for 35+ retiree visa?
Wish it was me ❤
Could you asked her what kind of a lawyer would I need to get that put on the paperwork she was talking about. Like my discharge and military pension. I have talked with her a few times. She had called me. Very nice sweet lady. When I get ready to my SSRV she will be the one I going to used
Well, there are a lot of fees, maybe for american people is very cheap compared to the USA costs. Living in Paradise definetely is not for free. Paraguay has a Permanent Residency without all these demands, very affordable fees, but no beautiful beaches.
Could someone provide me an example of the character letter that is required for the SRRV retirement Visa.. if you could message me I would appreciate it - thank you
What’s the name of the restaurant your in
Is there an age limit to apply? Great video, thanks!
50
Is there any waiver for retiring before 50? I don't want to deal with immigration for 9 years... I have a DD-214 and VA disability...
You want to vist the PH?..Yes (done). You want to marry a Filipina?..Yes (done). You want to live in the PH?..NO. The cost of living in Oman is alot less that PH. The PH is a beautiful country and the PPL are very nice. Love them and have the highest respect for both.
Philippine government needs to improve their services. Every level of government service are very slow an organize , and that is sad 😢 🇵🇭🇺🇸
okay, now i know how to get retirement visa from philippines, but I still dont know how to get retired right now in when im still young. I dont wanna work anymore! lol
Bro what happened to your voice my friend
There was no mention of age requirements. Has it been lowered from 55?
It's for a minimum age of 50
ARE YOU OK? YOUR VOICE HAS BEEN SOUNDING DIFFERENT
From what I understand papers that has to be apostle example: birth certificate, marriage license, fbi record checks they all need a signature from whoever issued those documents. The state government will not apostle them with a signature from entity you got them from. I was also told that they can not apostle federal documents like DD214 or its equivalent. Just state papers as I listed above is that true? On social media I read that you can go to USA embassy in Manila and they will affirm or give you affidavit confirming the authenticity. Is that true if you know?
You are right on the DD-214 the gov is not going to stamp or do anything on that, regarding the certificates and other licenses, etc I never heard of a state issue document being issued getting it re-certified for authenticity. This extra Apostille process part is new to me and I bet some documents might be easy to do while some a huge pain. I did find this - www.usa.gov/authenticate-us-document
@@D1Z4STR the video mentions it also PRA web site mentions it too. Maybe the host can let us know.
I took my fbi check to the us embassy and had it notarized - BTW all they really notarize is a statement from you saying it’s your fbi check attached - then you take that to the dept of foreign affairs to be authenticated
Wish I had used Heidi rather than JRC. I have been waiting more than 6 months to get the Visa due to lack of accurate information.
What exactly was the issue with JRC (to obtain the SRRV visa) who has been recommended by several UA-camrs?
how does the long term lease work? does that require 10 thousand all at once, or doe that give you time?
Long term lease has a minimum total spend for the 25 years of 50k usd - the contract you sign says payable immediately upon signing - I actually did a conversion so this is real info
@@rayintoledocebuphilippines5517 thank you!
This lady accent sounds like a Bahamian. Had to look twice to ensure she was speaking.
So how much are the C&G fees?
Depends on what type of visa you’re looking for

Is this lady working for the PRA, or is she an independent agency. Your payment to the PRA includes the payment of an authorized agent with the PRA, and many foreign men are taken advantage of by the agencies outside of the PRA. Check with different bloggers who are interested in making sure expats aren't being taken advantage of. I suggest the philippines info channel as they work with a PRA agent to help expats get their documents together and submitted.
The problem with Steve's contact Mary Rose of the PRA is that one has to get it done in Manila which is the last city I want to spend any amount of time in. Heidi is Cebu based which is better for me even with a fee.
In the background, there's a child wearing a face diaper. Incredible
..good luck in getting back your 30k deposit....i knew a guy everyday to Cebu office
For 7 months..but always exquisite ..
30 look at it this way. ...what ever you bring into Asian .....you can say goodbye to that cash... Im ok with that
But if you think you can live like a king on 10k a year be prepared to live in neepa hut ..and eat boil rice
