I'm 36, and last year, my mom got me Dukes Of Hazzard II: Daisy Dukes It Out on PlayStation for Christmas. This year, I hope for a cool looking XBOX360 controller.
My 8 year old son wants a Nintendo 64 for Christmas...he knows about the ps5 and the new xbox but he wants to play the classics...I couldn't be more proud

I was into the Sailor Moon collecting scene in 2011, there was kind of an Italian revival around that time where they suddenly started releasing lots of Italian Sailor Moon toys, dolls, cosplay toys, makeup, etc. In the 90s Sailor Moon was a huge hit in the Italian toy market, so I assume they were trying to cash in on some of that nostalgia/recreate that success with a new generation. So the DS game was one of many many Italian Sailor Moon products to come out during that time.
That's interesting, I didn't know that! I was REALLY into collecting as a kid then fell off around the early 2000's. And now I'm back, lol. I'll have to look up more of the Italian toys :)

As a 90s kid I can attest that arcades still looked that that. They always had plenty of those old school cabinets peppered in. Man, I miss those days. Nice dreamcast. I didn't even know that was a thing. I just had the generic one, lol

My Funtastic N64 collection is displayed in Container Store makeup cases. They are an absolute perfect fit and have a glass bottom so they look nice

I wish I could say I picked up some great gaming merchandise lately, but my favorite second-hand video game shop closed down due to the Covid lockdown back in May. I used to get stuff from there all the time, Yoshi & Battletoads for NES, Battletaods/Double Dragon for SNES, TMNT Hyperstone Heist & Aladdin for Genesis, SNES Superscope, ROB The Robot, this list goes on and on...

Hey Erin, I'm a new subscriber to this channel and had a Dreamcast back in 1999 launch day. I would really recommend trying finding a Dreamcast vga cable/converter. It makes the image so much better, especially if you have a crt monitor. but if not it still is miles better then the scart cable or s vhs cable. Anyway it was a very cool video and I had both Dreamcast and N64 back then albeit white and black models of each.
The 1980s being 40 years ago is indeed nuts, Erin. Born in 84 and feel old "af" as the kids say har har...ugh...Love the HK DC. I have the black Sega Sports edition console, with DC Digital (1080p HDMI out) and GDEMU (with a SD full of every USA released game lol) yooo the matching HK down to the keyboard and controller is crazy!! Also I have that green VMU as well. Might grab a 16 MEG memory card so I don't have a million of these things all over the apartment lol that watermelon N64 is so CLEAN! I want to eat off it lol but there's actually one of these on ebay for sale right now with Ultra HDMI installed :) kinda pricey though, like not worth at the price for me but it's a dream I'd like to accomplish in the next...few years maybe lol
Yeah the HDMI modded N64's aren't cheap! This one is just your regular ol' N64 but I'm fine with that, ha.
That Pac-Man cabinet is massive! It puts all those tiny tabletop/keychain ones to shame!
I have the transparent orange N64. Found it at a flea market for only $30 (with matching controller included!). I always thought they were so cool looking.

Great Hello Kitty Pickup Erin! You could retro bright your yellow pieces on your dreamcast and controller by disassembling it. There's video's online that show you how.
I picked up a smoke grey dreamcast controller a few months ago. I haven't shown the dreamcast some love in awhile so it was nice firing up my dreamcast this year.

Great video and awesome hauls love pacman i am old so i did went alot of times in arcades and around arcades machines being that was everywhere there in 80s and love pacman it came out when was kid so share 40th anniversary of pacman and playing video games that long and yes saw those hello kitty dreamcast online it very cool looking also love the dreamcast and n64 color too

Holy shit including the keyboard and VMU and all. It always baffles me how many limited themed dreamcasts were produced.
I never had an N64 but I always thought the color ones were really nice. I think jungle green was the most prominent as it was featured in a lot of advertising for DK 64.
Those Hello Kitty Dreamcasts are so nice looking, although I imagine the pink one will have discoloured a bunch over the years on the transparent plastic. They remind me of the Skeleton Saturns a bit, and late 90s in general when every console was doing transparent plastic stuff. This is making me want an Aggretsuko console now.
Yeah the pink ones usually look pretty gross, lol. Unfortunately.
I have the fire orange n64 in the box. Some retrobrite on the dc and controller would clean it right up.

That Pac-Man arc looks really cool! Never knew there was a Hello Kitty Dreamcast, that's pretty cool, especially the whole bundle. The Jungle Green N64 I've always thought about getting but I already had the regular one so I just didn't see the point and plus it was already super expensive at that point.

Cool beans on the Dreamcast. I haven't really gotten anything in a while. A new video game store opened yesterday and I found Final Fantasy for the PSP so I grabbed that. The only other thing I got there was the movie Happy Death Day 2 U. Both the first and this second one are pretty cool.

It's harder to find the Blue Hello Kitty Dreamcast than the Pink one. I found a Pink one for cheap that had a bad GD-Rom drive. So, I just installed a GD-Emu instead on it. Do you have the Daiei Hawks N64?

Dreamcast was one of the best systems ever.
I haven't gotten anything that big, but I recently gotten all the assassin's creed on PS3, but now I have to get a PS4 to play all the AC I'm way behind on it.
