That TeleGames motocross is awesome. My older sister had one at her house in 1979. I played that thing until my arms practically fell off. I loved the Evel Knievel ramp jumping in the game. Until your video I hadn’t seen one again since the one my sister had in 1979. Thank you for the great stroll down memory lane!
Oh muh Goooodd that Telegames StuntBiiiike!! I had this in the early 90s and my parents spirited it away somewhere to never be seen again. I've never even seen a reference to it anywhere else ever. Amazing.
The only Sega Genesis cart I know that was ever colored was Maximum Carnage. And it was a cherry blood red color. Still my favorite color cart ever. ❤️
Congratz on getting more subs! Each time I see a video you have a little more followers ! There are really few youtubers with such dedication to retro gaming , so you deserve it! Thanks for the awesomeness , each video you make brings me back to the awesome time where consoles where big, clunky and amazing!
That's such a cool book of mid century design and concept. It would be awesome to see a video going through the book. Your videos going through catalogues are really fun experience
OMG! Why do all your gameboy boxes look so unique??? I had the uniform, blue laser, "Nintendo seal of approval" stuff when I was a kid...cool that you are able to source so many interesting products!
Lots of great stuff, there! I remember playing Circus Charlie in a dusty old flea market basement! The Mickey game is actually the first in a trilogy; the second game is The Great Circus Mystery, and the third one only came out in the US on the GBA. Puzzle Boy is the Japanese version of Amazing Tater, and there was another one also by Atlus called Spud's Adventure. The handlebars on your motocross console are probably fine; I've never seen one in person, but I have ridden a lot of motorcycles, and for many of them, especially from that era, you twist the right handlebar for the throttle, just like you were showing in the video. That said, I'm not sure how you'd steer that thing... ProTip: nail polish around the threads of a screw will hold it in place, if it's loose; I don't know how safe it is for electronics, but I've been repairing my glasses for years with it.
I've heard of Spud's Adventure, I didn't know they were related! And yeah, I've never ridden a motorcycle so I'm glad to hear that's just how it is, ha. And great tip, thanks!
lol I'm poor because of the collecting I have lol but is really fun and enjoyable when I open my package over something new to have fun at home. so no regrets love watching your videos and like your red hair ;) have fun playing with new toys lol
Your pickups videos are always a lot of fun! Can’t wait to see you play that Tokyo Disneyland game. Have you ever thought of doing a video where you just look through old game manuals? I’d watch the shit out of that!
Erin shows the McDonald's Tiger game... Classic Parental Responses be like: "You're into both retro gaming and McDonald's. When you have a child/children, are you gonna have them play this? Start them off young with gaming."
Burger Buttons totally justify any purchase. Recently subscribed, and yay to more pickups and unboxing videos. They are the video game genre equivalent of asmr, and I do enjoy the random midday nap.
Great pick-ups Erin ,Mickey's Magical quest and Bugs bunny crazy castle is one of my favorite but with Magical quest you'll have a very great time playing as Mickey trying to save his best friend Pluto from the Evil Sorcerer Pete
Music choices on point in this episode. Especially that pure tune that is the level 2 music from M.C. Kids/McDonaldland. That Sailor Moon cart looks rad. Hope you're planning to play it on the channel. I think the only Mega Drive game with a coloured cart was Maximum Carnage... maybe? One of the things that makes me want to collect Famicom games is how all the carts come in different colours which just makes your collection look so much more fun than any other format.
I'm glad you appreciated the M.C. Kids music, haha. And that's a very good point about Famicom games! I like colorful things, and I wish there was more of a variety when it came to carts. I think that's why I've (lately) been drawn to homebrew and hack carts, like this Sailor Moon game.
You really deserve more subscribers. Keep it up! :) I have mainly been getting my carts off of ebay, and I have gotten a few pretty good ones...mostly for decent prices! XD
You've GOTTA do a video on the SNES Beauty and The Beast game. I have never heard of it (as in the game, not the story lol), I cannot imagine how they make the concept go to full-game length, and the fact that Hudson Soft did not release it here in the US is very intriguing to me. Another fantastic video; I am looking forward to the content you will make with all these new games!
I don't know much about it, but yeah the fact that it's Hudson Soft is what got me! I'll most likely do a video or stream of it down the line. And thanks so much!
I bought a sealed in box out to lunch recently I wanted to open it so bad, but then I bought a loose cart from Canada to play the game. I just love the graphics on it. If those damn mushrooms would stop running away from me.
okay. so showing these is great and all. in some cases i find i'll recall a thing or two (that magical quest on snes, for example, was quite good). others ive never seen. i know they take time but i would also like to see follow-up impressions. same reason i guess. ("i wonder if erin likes that game as much as i do." "never seen that one before.")
Great way to start my week. Awesome pick-ups, Erin! That Contra poster needs to go right in the center of the room, ASAP. Looking forward to the next video. By the way, you should wear a red handband the next time that you live-stream either Contra or Super C. Totally get into the Contra spirit, ha.
Ninja Gaiden was awesome... was my introduction to cutscenes on the nintendo and for me they seemed like cartoons on the nintendo and I thought it was awesome... cheers!
I recently moved and have got my game room set up, I was cleaning my master system games (10 years in the attic) and didn't realize they had some different colours of carts, some blue, some white, never noticed it beforehand. I haven't found my SNES games yet thou :(
More Pong consoles, cool! It's awesome that you get excited about these consoles because most people don't care about them despite them still being a fun and really cool to look at. On a different note, that McDonald's game is just so bizarre considering it's advertising fast food to really little kids. Then again, I remember when Sears had a huge McDonald's themed clothing section.
Boco Corwin yeah, the McDonald's Mario toys we're great but I remember the Lego, Muppet Babies, those food transformer things and other halfway decent toys. Not much in the way of decent Happy Meal toys these days I'm afraid.
Definitely make this a regular thing! Your pickups are lot better than mine. I only seem to find half consumed coffees. Probably should stop going to Starbucks for my gaming pickups.
You might be wrong about Beauty and the Beast. I love Power Blade! Definitely right up there with Shadow of the Ninja. And Ninja Gaiden 2 might be my favorite NES game.
Great pick-ups! Adventures in the Magic Kingdom was one of the first NES games I ever owned. So I’m assuming those Japanese Game Boy games have to be played on a Retron or something?
Was that a Sailor Moon tune during your pong console showing? Some nice pics ups, especially Power Blade. Such a sweet game! Hope we see an Erin Plays of that one.
IS THAT PRETTY PRINCESS SAILOR MOON? I played that on an snes emulator! It's so fun. Been years though. I didn't get very far because of finding a way to emulate games for my ds.
I'd be cool with more of these pick up videos. On the topic of food games, ever play Spanky's Quest on SNES? Every enemy is a piece of fruit and it's actually a pretty fun game.
On the contra picture, the one guy kinda looks like arnold schwarzenegger and the genesis sailor moon game, it looks like it could be a limited edition game if the cartridge is pink.
That Sailor Moon game for the Sega Genesis is Not a Hack. The cartridge case is custom, but the game is real. Sailor Moon Sega Genesis games were made, though not much different than the SNES / SFC version.
As Ollie Twist would say, "More Erin's-Late-Night-Ebay-Pickups please." Geez. I'm glad I'm not the only one spending hard earned case at midnight. Stupid Ebay.
you should do more videos like this of you showing off games you just picked up and then showing you trying them out for a little bit plus you should give every game you review a 1 to 10 rating based on how you like the game
I watch "the 8-bit guy" on UA-cam. He does monthly unboxing of donations. He also has a wishlist of items on his web page. These items people usually donate, he says sometimes there is a negotiation for shipping, and he uses them in his videos. You should consider that as well. Most of those pong games, people have in their attic with no plan to get rid of. Also start a patreon, then patreon users can suggest topics. Snes drunk doea that. His channel is great. Just suggestions.
Some cool pickups, Ninja turtles was my first game on the NES. Still have it, but sadly the box is cracked. But still plays. You by chance willing to part with the none working one?
Hey Erin, awesome that you got a lot of SNES games,Magical Quest is a good one just like all Mickey Mouse games really, maybe that will be a future video with that game?
Speaking of food games...have you played Princess Tomato in the Salad Kingdom on NES? It sucks but it's a food game. Isn't there another game on like Midway classics called food fight? that one is supes fun.
Vectrex is an amazing console even today, I have just bought it and I love it!
Awesome pick ups/unboxing video Erin! Yes, i think you should make this a regular thing and share your finds!
"Erin's Late Night Ebay Confessions" sounds like a show I'd watch.. lol
Keep 'em coming!
Contra is awesome! One of the best NES games ever. That Mickey game was fun, I had fun with it. Another great video!
I like how you justify your purchases to us, like we are in charge of the finances. Yes, more videos are always better.
The original TMNT is one of my favorite NES games, despite it being outlandishly difficult. Glad to see you were able to get a new copy! :D
Yeah, I've barely played it but I can see it possibly being my fave TMNT game. We'll see!
Love the background music btw!
Its mad goofy! Thank you so much for all your content!
Oh muh Goooodd that Telegames StuntBiiiike!! I had this in the early 90s and my parents spirited it away somewhere to never be seen again. I've never even seen a reference to it anywhere else ever. Amazing.
You love your Pong-Consoles and I love your videos! ❤
The only Sega Genesis cart I know that was ever colored was Maximum Carnage. And it was a cherry blood red color. Still my favorite color cart ever. ❤️
i was about to mention the same. One of the few cartridges i managed to hold onto from my early years. Really fun game too!
Congratz on getting more subs! Each time I see a video you have a little more followers ! There are really few youtubers with such dedication to retro gaming , so you deserve it! Thanks for the awesomeness , each video you make brings me back to the awesome time where consoles where big, clunky and amazing!
Thank you very much!
Very interesting video. Please more of these videos!
yes, Erin's late night pick ups should be a thing. I enjoy pickups videos.
I love these kinds of videos, yes please to late night eBay pickups!
Wow! Awesome job working your way up to 5K subscribers (and climbing!!!), I knew your channel would find its way and grow up strong:)
That's such a cool book of mid century design and concept. It would be awesome to see a video going through the book. Your videos going through catalogues are really fun experience
Oh yes more videos like this! I wanna see late night eBay pick ups!
Thanks for watching!
OMG! Why do all your gameboy boxes look so unique??? I had the uniform, blue laser, "Nintendo seal of approval" stuff when I was a kid...cool that you are able to source so many interesting products!
Wow, I was not aware of that Tokyo Disneyland Fantasytour game. I'd really like to see an Erin Plays video of that one!
Wow, you got so much good stuff! Hoping we get to see some of it getting played :)
Lots of great stuff, there! I remember playing Circus Charlie in a dusty old flea market basement! I really enjoy your pickup videos, and it looks like you scored some nice finds, especially the Odyssey. Keep up the great videos.
lol I'm poor because of the collecting I have lol but is really fun and enjoyable when I open my package over something new to have fun at home. so no regrets love watching your videos and like your red hair ;) have fun playing with new toys lol
Your pickups videos are always a lot of fun! Can’t wait to see you play that Tokyo Disneyland game. Have you ever thought of doing a video where you just look through old game manuals? I’d watch the shit out of that!
I’d enjoy that too... there are some classic illustrations and descriptions in those old manuals. Laughs and merriment will abound!
Shawn she could look at the old Castlevania manuals and see all the variations of wall meat.
Geek out whatever way you like EP. I dig your content.
Erin shows the McDonald's Tiger game...
Classic Parental Responses be like: "You're into both retro gaming and McDonald's. When you have a child/children, are you gonna have them play this? Start them off young with gaming."

Sweet

I miss the days when you could find games in the wild
Great pickups!! Hopefully I see you on the next event!
Cool pick-ups video. Should keep making pick-ups/late night eBay buys a regular thing.
If I divulged my late night eBay pickups, psychoanalysts would have a field day
You really deserve more subscribers. Keep it up! :) I have mainly been getting my carts off of ebay, and I have gotten a few pretty good ones...mostly for decent prices! XD
Thank you! And that's awesome :)

Awesome video. The wall art looks amazing!
Thanks! :)
I bought a sealed in box out to lunch recently I wanted to open it so bad, but then I bought a loose cart from Canada to play the game.

Good stuff ya got, have fun with em!

More pick-ups and eBay videos would be cool!
Nice! Those are some fun goodies~
I'm so glad to hear I helped get your week off to a good start! And lol, we'll see about the headband.
I would like to see more stuff like that it was very cool to see all the stuff you bot
Ninja Gaiden was awesome... was my introduction to cutscenes on the nintendo and for me they seemed like cartoons on the nintendo and I thought it was awesome...
cheers!
I love crazy castle, def very good game
Burger buttons. 🖤
You're welcome for the McDonald's thing, lol. :-D
Oh man, you should do a playthrough of the Talking Learning McDonalds game :-D
I recently moved and have got my game room set up, I was cleaning my master system games (10 years in the attic) and didn't realize they had some different colours of carts, some blue, some white, never noticed it beforehand. I haven't found my SNES games yet thou :(
Awesome haul Erin :-D nice score on that odyssey!
Yesssssss!! Still waiting on that Crazy Taxi stream 😉
LOL I love that this is the first comment. I didn't stream it on YT Gaming because I would get flagged but maybe on Twitch sometime soon ;)
Twitch notifications on!
Did you know Cinemassacre them selves liked this video? Check their liked videos. I must say, wow!
Yay, love your videos!
Maybe do a video next showing some of the new games being played
More Pong consoles, cool! It's awesome that you get excited about these consoles because most people don't care about them despite them still being a fun and really cool to look at.
On a different note, that McDonald's game is just so bizarre considering it's advertising fast food to really little kids. Then again, I remember when Sears had a huge McDonald's themed clothing section.
Yeah, times have definitely changed! It is a really weird concept. And Sears had McDonald's clothing?! I need to look this up. Thanks for watching!
Yup, my local Sears even had the golden arches in the store. I did find one McKids Sears commercial on YT ua-cam.com/video/1jAMDoD3Wf0/v-deo.html
Boco Corwin yeah, the McDonald's Mario toys we're great but I remember the Lego, Muppet Babies, those food transformer things and other halfway decent toys. Not much in the way of decent Happy Meal toys these days I'm afraid.
What! There was a Socal Retro Swapmeet? I missed that one.
Nice pick ups. Is the Beauty & The Beast a repro cart not just label? UK pal cartridges weren’t square like the NTSC, they were curved.
Yeah I may have slipped up on that one. Welp!
Maybe I should have scrolled through before leaving same comment myself
my first ever game! Circus Charlie.
In regard to the motocross-thing, my guess it's to emulate an actual motorcycle in which the right handle is the throttle.
Cool pick ups vid Erin. 😊
Definitely make this a regular thing! Your pickups are lot better than mine. I only seem to find half consumed coffees. Probably should stop going to Starbucks for my gaming pickups.
Maybe. But coffee and pastries are sometimes pretty good pick ups.
Erin Plays For sure! Pastries are my ultimate weakness. I cannot he trusted with them lol
Power Blade is great! A little short, imo, like Shadow of the Ninja, but amazing nonetheless.
You might be wrong about Beauty and the Beast.
I love Power Blade! Definitely right up there with Shadow of the Ninja. And Ninja Gaiden 2 might be my favorite NES game.
You are awesome and I enjoy your videos.
Great pick-ups! Adventures in the Magic Kingdom was one of the first NES games I ever owned.
So I’m assuming those Japanese Game Boy games have to be played on a Retron or something?
That's awesome :) And they aren't region locked or anything, but to stream or record game footage I'd use the Super Game Boy in my Super Nt.
Was that a Sailor Moon tune during your pong console showing? Some nice pics ups, especially Power Blade. Such a sweet game! Hope we see an Erin Plays of that one.
Yes, it was! (I'll post a "track listing" of sorts in the description soon.) And yeah, I could see myself wanting to do a Power Blade video for sure.
Magical Quest is definitely a good game, you'll probably like it.
Ninja Gaiden 2 , my favourite box art both in this world and the Ninja one.
Awesome pickups video I'm a big fan of Sailor moon I'll have to get that cart.
Ps your sailor moon was on the Sega mega drive but only in Japan.
😮
Adding gameplay would be great!
Amazon is the worst at packing books. Usually a box that's way too big and a couple of airbags thrown in if you're lucky.
Awesome stuff!
The left handle doesn’t turn on motorcycles
HA well, I guess that explains it! And now I feel better about that console! Thanks for pointing this out :p
Don't believe Em ! The left grip rotates for the turbo boost!
Aero the Acrobat 2 is better than the first. Plus, its sound track is eargasmic. I can't get enough of it, and i've owned it for 21 years XD
Great pick-up vid, Erin! Do you have any plans for a tour of your game room? 😎
Thanks! And yeah at some point I would like to :)
IS THAT PRETTY PRINCESS SAILOR MOON? I played that on an snes emulator! It's so fun. Been years though. I didn't get very far because of finding a way to emulate games for my ds.
I liked the part where you held up games you recently bought :)
Cool stuff.. u got erin ..go retro.. im retro too hehe..Wow oddyssey... hey u should get monopoly gamr for nes too ..its fun
haha the monopoly game...maybe one day!
I love your channel.😎😎😎😎
u already had it !!!!!! dam!!!!! lol no worries now u got 2 of em!!!!
I'd be cool with more of these pick up videos. On the topic of food games, ever play Spanky's Quest on SNES? Every enemy is a piece of fruit and it's actually a pretty fun game.
No, I haven't! I just looked it up though and it definitely looks like something I want to check out. Thanks!
The only official colored genesis games I know of are the red Spiderman Maximum Carnage cart and the silver carts from Australia
Mickey mouse on the Sega Genesis is the best Mickey game hands down.
As Ollie Twist would say, "More Erin's-Late-Night-Ebay-Pickups please." Geez. I'm glad I'm not the only one spending hard earned case at midnight. Stupid Ebay.
You got some nice pickups. No disrespect, everyone has their opinions on these games. You'll have rhythm like you normally do. Go get em gamer.
do a playthrough of the magical quest, that would be cool
you should do more videos like this of you showing off games you just picked up and then showing you trying them out for a little bit plus you should give every game you review a 1 to 10 rating based on how you like the game

Not a bad idea! I’ve been thinking of starting a patreon, but I just need to think about the details and what not.
Erin Plays think not, do yes, young padawan.
Newman agrees with this video
hey its erin!!
Some cool pickups, Ninja turtles was my first game on the NES. Still have it, but sadly the box is cracked. But still plays. You by chance willing to part with the none working one?
Erin's late night eBay pickups sounds like a great idea. Would it be in livestream form, edited video or both?
I never thought about doing it as a live stream, but that's not a bad idea! It would probably be a video series :)
I LOVE your hair colour! :o)
Thank you!
Hey Erin, awesome that you got a lot of SNES games,Magical Quest is a good one just like all Mickey Mouse games really, maybe that will be a future video with that game?
Yeah it's totally possible. I'll have to see how I like it :)
Mickey magical quest on snes is madd madd good
Speaking of food games...have you played Princess Tomato in the Salad Kingdom on NES? It sucks but it's a food game. Isn't there another game on like Midway classics called food fight? that one is supes fun.
No, I have not played Princess Tomato but I know it's rare. I love the title, ha. And yeah, Food Fight is great! Thanks for watching :)
You like food video games...what about music bands like Mac Sabbath? The inventors of the drive through Metal !
LOL I totally forgot about Mac Sabbath
