Thank you for the recipe, I found your video easy to follow...However I had a go at making them into square shapes...and a couple in the bun shape...to see the difference as I'm getting myself ready to make mini sliders for a 5th birthday😊

When you say cover and let rise for 30 minutes when the buns are on the tray is the tray supposed to be in the fridge?

Maybe your dough was loose in the beginning and it got flat when baking.
every flour is different and absorbs water differently, try to add more flour next time or add the water slowly ( you may not need all the water)and refer to the video to see the consistency of the dough , hope that helps :)

I don't recommend freezing the uncooked dough but the baked buns freeze really well .

I don't measure it, I just cut them as shown in the video but you can make them as big or as small as you like , just adjust the baking time accordingly :)

And also can I bake the bun 3 4 days before the party

@@sayrabegum4498 yes you can freeze the buns.
and yes you can make them 3-4 days ahead , just make them and freeze them so they can stay as fresh as possible.
then thaw them the day of the party or the night before depends on when you plan to use them.

my buns cracked but still a bit undercooked inside

It could be that your dough was dry to begin with, some flours absorb more water so you may need to add more water to it , look at the consistency of the dough in the video and add a bit more water to match it , if your dough was undercooked then try to bake it a bit more .
