Hand Knead Hamburger Buns

- Hello darlings! Today, we are going to make a homemade hamburger buns.
You can do your buns your way, with or without mold.
Here's what you'll need:
3 cups all purpose flour 375g
¼ cup sugar 50g
2 tsp instant yeast 6g
1 tsp salt 5g
1 egg
1 cup fresh milk minus 3 tablespoons (220ml)
3 tablespoons butter (salted or unsalted)
sesame seeds for topping
eggwash: 1egg + 2 tbsp milk
OVEN - Baking time may vary depending on your oven's specification. I'm using a conventional oven which heat rises from the bottom.
YEAST - Active dry yeast and instant yeast both help leaven bread and provide an airy, light texture, but they do so in slightly different ways and there's one major difference in how you use them: Active dry yeast needs to be dissolved in water before using, while instant yeast can be mixed right into dry ingredients.
MILK- you can use evap or fresh milk, lukewarm or room temp.

Best recipe I’ve made and I’ve tried about 5 different ones. I definitely suggest using tiny cake pans or the ones you have here. They made the buns PERFECT size for cutting and I realized that this is how they make burger buns for many establishments. They were nice and fluffy and just perfect. I also kneaded the dough for about 25 mins.

I made it today, it turns out perfect. Perfect taste and perfect size, love it!! For those who are planning to sub oil for butter, I used 2.25 tbsp of canola oil which is about 29 grams.

Now why would anyone want mold on their burger?
I think she meant you can make with or without yeast. You can prob use baking powder rather than yeast. Yeast is mold basically. So some people won't eat what's called leavened bread, bread made WITH yeast. Then there's unleavened bread, no yeast.
