- 2 of the best songs from one of Boz's best albums.. Boz Scaggs & Band. I love Boz I wouldn't want to keep him from making every penny he can.. but this album is not in print. So Enjoy it. It's great! Here to Stay is one of the most soulful songs ever. And Flames of Love is probably the hottest song Boz ever recorded. I just saw him in Vegas. He still has it. Go see him if you can! Oh and there is a tiny skip in the beginning of Flames of Love. I'm planning on putting up the whole album and I have another version somewhere without the skip.
yes..I have this LP..it's great. Saw him in '72 when he had a great conga player! Just saw him again last year...still has it!!
Yea, i got this album around 1982, and i still think it is great. It explores areas of music that aren't found in Silk Degrees, and contains some great blues songs and ballads too.

I just found the name of "Flames Of Love" today. It's one of those songs you heard but couldn't remember the name. Wouldn't want to sent it to me :)

Completely forgot about this beauty, oh to hear Boz sing this one on a concert tour would be out of this world! Huge Boz fan here, always giving me goosebumps!

In response to the first comment.. This album came out before Silk Degrees. Boz wasn't really a pop star at this time. Silk degrees was a huge success. But if you like good soul this album rocks.. Thanks for your comment!
I have loved Boz since 1970, and you are right! Here to Stay is a huge part of my heart! I'd give ANYTHING to see him live!!! He doesn't come to Central Pennsylvania. How I wish!!! Great album! Liked Moments too...EVERY song on both. Runnin Blues is great too! Thanks!
I completly agree, I was fortunate enough to see Boz live recently with Michael McDonald and Donald Fagen of Steely Dan. All still fantastic legends and talents! Thanks for posting this music I have never heard. Kathy

Just an FYI.... Flames of Love begins at @ 2:35............. great song.. really shows how tight this band was! Especially the break at 5:00..............

Saw Boz in '71. he opened for his old school chum and bandmate: Steve Miller. Boz was so big 6 years or so later that the roles were reversed.
