I left out the Japanese versions of "I Need You Now" and "Run," because they are more centered on choreography. There are scenes within the videos that tie into the BU. Check it out if you want to. They come before the Epilogue.

the story is actually really confusing even for us who's been following it for years. at the end of this mv, you see 7 of them in the back of the car but when the photo is taken, only 6 of them are in it. seokjin wasn't in the photo. this was shown in the on stage prologue you reacted to when seokjin took the polaroid out of the drawer and only hoseok was in the picture even though they took it together.
also i saw a comment mentioning to pay attention to the pairings and they're right. the two who were fighting are yoongi and jungkook, namjoon and taehyung were spray painting and hoseok and jimin were in the hospital. the only person without a pair is seokjin who keeps "going out of character" during the scenes, glancing at the camera etc. all of these are important to the story and there's still so much for you to find out about it
I miss the time when we used to break our heads figuring out the Storyline and theories the moment Music videos were released.....

I haven’t seen many people catch the hospital imagery around Hoseok’s parts in their first viewing so that made me really happy

I think a great way to think of it is that Run represents sadness in happiness, while I need U represents happiness in sadness.
Run is a mostly happy vibe, but then you see these glimpses of their suffering and sadness.
While I need U is very dark and sad, but you see moments of pure happiness among all the suffering.
BU jumps around the past, future and present so much it's one complicated sad mess, i admire you for trying to understand it!! The blue flowers are call Smeraldo which they are discovered by the fictional poet William Ashbless (invented by fantasy writers James Blaylock and Tim Powers), he discovered the smeraldo flower in La Citta di smeraldo, Italy on June 12, 2013 (BTS debut day. even tho the creators have no connection to bts or bighit). The smeraldo flower represents "non potevo dire la verita" or the "truths that we cannot tell", it's a really beautiful but sad history too. So welcome to the BU rabbit hole that you will never get out bc the story has so many details that its not even over yet (in the new hybe exhibition they created a map where it connects everything from the bu, its a mess btw) Love your videos!! ♡
This MV actually have a lot of reference to their other songs, some within the same album. The card on the floor is for Butterfly and House of Cards, the feathers are for Forever young and the scene where they are together is for I Need U. 'The most beautiful moment in life" album is actually my favorite 🤧

omgosh run is such a masterpiece cuz its very heavy on references to the storyline, especially at the end where jin looks to the right and it immediately transitions to taehyung underwater looking at the camera (kinda surprised u didnt comment on that!). u kind of got it, in the videos it alternates between the dream world jins stuck in and harsh reality, there are even times when reality manifests itself in this dream world in the form of small accidents making jin realize somethings wrong with the boys (house of cards falling). this mv may be my personal favoriteeee, keep reacting plz
Honestly i'm still having goosebumps when i watch their videos. I was confused as hell too at the beginning of my journey in the BTS AU, and i'm so thankful for our Theorist ARMYs expanding my knowledge 😊

They have a song House of cards, Jin building a house of cards which collapse. Flowers in the mirror = Blood Sweat and tears where they show a flower in the mirror which was different from the one on the counter..

SPOILERS!!!!!
I just realized that yoonkook's fight was a representation of Jungkook's abusive step brother😳 That's why Yoongi was drunk and hurting him for seemingly no reason despite being the closest, JK was imagining Yoongi in his brother's place out of insecurity. Jungkook fears that the boys will turn on him and hurt him like his brother does if they fall apart any further, that's so sad🥺
The second last scene (very important for the future) is not related to the last. The last is just V coming out of the water where he deeps with the first scene, like a close circle. To me it symbolises that he will not die as Jin is getting full conscious of the butterfly effect and it will be able to safe him.
But the previous scene, that you realise they are just 6, the one missing is not V, it is Jin, and the source of light is the light of a car that Jin is driving. At least I thought like that from my very first time watching the video and later I did reenforce that idea. This is a very important scene for the future in the BU. So please bear in mind.
All the scenes that you try to know if they are the past, it would be more correct to think is he living it at present or is a flash from another universe. You will see that the idea of parallel universe it is so real in fact in Blood sweat and tears Japanese version you actually see the virtual image of the wormhole, the typical that you see in cientific docs
the flower is the smeraldo flower which they referenced in the ly album series ☺️

After understanding Bu story line this video makes me cry😢 and after all this years the story is heading to an even scarier direction, why can't they all be happy 😭😭
BTW in term of flower, BTS has a special flower called Smeraldo, we have a theory in regard to the flower which often used in the storyline.
Did you realize that at the end when the shot at the truck turned into a photograph that Jin was missing standing by the driver's door? Love the reaction.
This is a very emotional introspective video in the story line. The chaotic back and forth is pivotal and poignant.
I like that he can notice there're only 6 people at the end.

I'm a photography major and I got into BTS through their videography and storyline. its really insane and when you get to the WINGS short films... I actually wrote an essay on one of them and got into a scholarship program
just something you might want to look out for throughout this journey is the grouping of the members. Hospital, fight scene, graffiti, 6 instead of 7, etc.
I know it must be hard to identify the members so don't worry if you get them wrong! but it is a crucial part that will carry out throughout the journey.
when I got into this whole mess, I wasn't even into idols or kpop but i could identify them in 2 days bc I was so obsessed with the storyline😂
Also! You should watch the Japanese MVs as well. You will get claimed if you upload the whole thing tho just a note. even if you don't react to it, you should watch it! It has more tidbits of the story:)

I love how you pointed out the way when they run to left, it might mean the past or remembering the past and to the right is the future... cause timelines really are a big part of this storyline and having that information about how in filmmaking, the direction the subject is going can help hint if it's past or future, is really helpful in rewatching the MVs.
As I learn along with Alex, (still new to the BTS gift) I must admit, according to me there really are parallel universes with in the Quantum based human experiment. I find it absolutely fascinating that "this insignificant little boy band from Korea" are revealing esoteric sacred wisdoms of the masters.
run is so special like i cant even begin, yes it has a lot to do with th whole story line and all but the bitter sweet moments in run mean a lot. obviously there are all sorts of little details here and there too which you have caught on some with 1 watch

The ending was not behind the scenes but part of the story
In the storyline, RM lives in a container park where other low income folks all live. So the party was probably at RMs place
In the theory and story line of BTS, Jin is someone who is stuck in a time loop and time repeats for him .... Nowadays, boys have a lot of problems and Jin wants to fix them when he goes back in time; That's why we saw Jimin with a different hair color than before, but in the same situation, which shows that time is repeating itself.
Please don't spoil things yet to come!!!!!

This is some REALLY complex storyline, specially because it involves more than just the mvs to understand what is happening
One thing you already seem to get here is that there's a lot of going back n forth between the past n present, but there's more to it than that n I won't say more, but let you discover it on your own... it's just more satisfying that way ;-) Also, there's something to the poloroids that are taken thru the past few videos you've already watched, but that's all I'll say as well ;-) Welcome to the first parts of the Bangtan Universe rabbit hole, you're doing alright so far... but there's a whole lot more to come! The storyline is really hard to get because it's very abstract, this is all about symbolisms and hidden things, every shot has a meaning and if you don't recognize them in the videos it's difficult to understand the connections between them 😅

What to watch next? This is a bit intriguing, it follows the Japanese version of I need you and Run. Do they contribute a lot to tge storyline? Yes and no, yes if you are reali got at connecting simbolims but no as even that simbolism dies not advance in the story it is more like a simbolic mourning of someone: who? Still not so clear, I have my guess but is better if I don't influence you. But it is a mourning, I know very well, too well.
To you I believe is interesting, you will see that the Japanese MVs are so, so different than the Korean, they are so colourful, packed with content, so simbolic and in this 2 cases strong based of Choreography as my colleague ARMY said, not so much the Japanese version of Blood sweat and tears.
What I would do if it was you is to react to both in the same video, because they don't add a lot to the story

Welp, the confusion begins hahahaha if you want to get the story (Although it’s ok if you want to focus on the cinematography stuff) it would be helpful if you can distinguish them because the storyline is uhmm.. not that simple hahahaha. @@melosasengupta5068 As long as bts doesnt explain everything themselves, any interpretation can be right. There is no 'right' explanation. Look at it like its art. Everyone sees art differently. And i honestly think that its a much more interesting story since bts never explained it and that gives space for different stories 😃 xCeleste is just sharing her interpretation with people who dont have time to break down every song in the bts timeline and i think that is very nice of her 😀 Next time someone says that a certain person is wrong about the timeline, tell them exactly this 😉 It will make them realise that even they can make their own story out of the music videos 🙃

in euphoria, jungkook comits suicide jumping from a building and falls on jin's car, killing him and everyone's inside. There's a lot of blood and this keep on happening since Jin can time travel

Did you notice there was supposed to be 7 people in the picture, but the one Jimin burned in the bathtub at the end there was only 6?
I think jin was missing which makes sense with the storyline cuz he's normally the one taking pictures and he's sorta the protagonists in a way since he's the one who the ground hog day stuff is really affecting the most since he remembers everything

but doesn't he reappear in epiphany?? i think his disappearance means a lot more than he's just the one taking the pictures. since a lot of the storyline revolves around time travel it would make sense that maybe some things change and shift depending on what jin does when he repeats the day (like how some memebers d!e and stuff)
As I can see this MV, it shows 2 timelines: when they're together and happy, and when they're alone and miserable. The timeline when they are alone has situations that remind them of happier times, that is why so many matching cuts. Also, those dramatic looks into the camera are to show that everything that's going on around is just memories.

Actually Euphoria comes before the LY highlight reels. It's marked with 起 (gi) which is part of the traditional storytelling narrative bts is using in the LY era 起承転結 (gi seung jeon gyeol).

It's because Jin goes back in time aka he is in another reality. If I remember correctly
to know who is who is really important . the storyline is hell confusing and if you confuse with the members with their character it going to be a mess. i know it might be difficult , everyone start the journey with 'oh they all look same' to knowing them by their shadow . you can first start by learning their names , stage names are easy. and then go through each member photo one by one on google .and them take a group photo and see whom you can recognise and whom not . then repeat . thats how i learned . it might seem difficult but its really fun. (sorry for my bad english , it not my first language)
Ok I see you’re trying to remember their names, good! Even though you’re not confident about it and not quiet there yet but yeah it would be helpful if you know all the members and not just jimin lol watching your reactions it seems like you get them confused with each other sometimes because you don’t really know them. I think knowing the names of each member will help you understand and follow along better about what each member symbolizes as and notice the particular pairings. But I think once you get into the wings short films you’ll know them individually since each film focuses on one member. And please do not remember them by hair colors lmfao please know their FACES, it’s not hard. They dye their hair a lot if you haven’t noticed 😂
The thing about almost all of their mv is, there are storyline based on the continuation of their other songs and their BU... but they also drops lots of meaningful meanings on one mv too... We can interpret them in so many ways and there are no rights or wrong...
