  • Forty-six-year-old Christine Ricci is accused of violently murdering her 51-year-old husband, Michael Ricci, after the two got into a heated argument. Michael Ricci was allegedly experiencing manic episodes in the week leading up to the deadly altercation. Christine Ricci claims the stabbing was in self-defense after he allegedly lunged at her, lodging the knife in his chest. Their 16-year-old child called 911 and Christine Ricci was arrested. First responders said Michael, a Boston firefighter, had been stabbed in the heart. Christine faces trial for murder.

The judge and her team are so elegant and eloquent.

That judge is Diane Freniere. She is known to be respectful and courteous. I seen her deal with people. The Prosecutor don't hold back with emotion. She lays out facts and pulls the jury in with everything she says. Her name is Jeremy Beth Kusmin. Let's be honest Beth would've torn Christina apart on the stand. The defense made the right choice there. You would probably see the defendant lash out. She may lash out after being found guilty or after sentencing. The Judge will take into consideration what her kids say. If she had Judge Richard Chin she would've had the book thrown at her. He retired like 5 years ago. Judge Freniere is liked by everyone though.

Prosecutor closing was excellent! Christine should have gotten mental health help or left the marriage! Instead she irreparably crewed up her poor kids and murdered a really great guy.

The defense is shameful attempting to portray this woman as a victim in all this. When clearly she had been terrorizing the entire family for a couple years. The reason Michael Jr left because of this toxic woman’s behavior, her inability to deal with reality.

Why wouldn’t she just plead guilty? There’s overwhelming evidence against her and she doesn’t have any defense but a far-fetched theory told by the attorney. Her son referred to her as “the defendent” and “Christine” but not Mom. I feel so bad for their kids. I also feel for the affair partner. She seemed like a genuinely nice person who believed his marriage was over and then this unhinged woman was harassing her.

At some point Christine turned her obsession towards the girlfriend. Stalking, texting, calling.

She was suicidal but he ends up dead. Hmm… funny how that works.

The Defense organized their closing really well. So well, in fact, it made it even more clear that she is guilty! He listed 5 examples that she’s totally off her rocker and capable of losing control enough to kill him.

The defense attorney did the best job he could for this guilty woman. She can’t claim inadequacies after she’s convicted. That’s for sure.

Bottom line why was there any physical contact at any time? Seems to me…she continuously went ballistic …for whatever reason no one should be touching any body. She definitely needed emotional help long before the murder…and to keep grabbing knives at every turn..what did she think she was going to do with it if not to hurt him

Law schools need to make grammar and speech courses mandatory. Listening to the prosecution during this trial is so painful. Before every question are unnecessary fillers “And uh”…….? “And um”……? “And”…..?

I don’t know if it’s this trial, but one of the prosecutors would do throat clearing right before a question that drove me bananas. It must be a nervous tick…an annoying tick. Lol

I didn’t watch trial live so catching up. Did the defense change their position? I thought defendant was claiming husband tried to attack her and she was scared and now defense saying husband was trying to prevent from hurting herself??

The alcohol problem was not his, she needed him to be an alcoholic to make it the reason he had an affair, always drunk & not thinking straight. Shes the whack job that needed mental help. The defense took this alcoholic thing way too far. He should have left her years earlier, but no doubt she convinced him if he left, she'd kill herself, the kids & probably the girlfriend. Why else would a man in his 50's take that from her. She was the abusive one. The mistress should thank her lucky stars shes still breathing.
