I hope this helps you Sarah. I used to have terrible panic attacks WITH flying UNTIL…I became an aircraft maintenance technician and learned about flight. Flying through the turbulence in the sky is like going down a terrible potholed road. It’s literally air pockets in the sky. For the claustrophobia the more you can focus on something else…ANYTHING…You will soon find it becoming easier and easier in any claustrophobic situation. I call it getting out of your own head. I began by practicing a biofeedback technique of visualizing one of my favorite calming things to imagine - lying back in the grass or hammock looking up at the leaves/trees swaying back and forth in the wind. It took thoughtful practice but now I can fly anywhere without panic attacks and I hope you can too! ❤️

I visited Disney World in 1990 and almost burst into tears of joy and amazement because it was so huge and unlike anything I’d ever seen! My daughter was just 4 and she was calm compared to me!! It’s great watching Carlo’s excitement!! 🥰🙅♀️🙅♀️
I was smiling from ear to ear seeing the excitement on Carlo’s face. I think he’s gonna “wow” often during his trip 😁✨

The reason you didn’t recognize the airport, Sarah, is because you flew into the brand new terminal C that is actually separated from the main airport that has terminals A & B. We flew home on JetBlue and didn’t know this so the bus dropped us off at the main airport and we followed the signs to terminal C which had us catch the tram that took us out a few miles to the new terminal. We thought it was connected. Nope! It was quite a walk from the shuttle to our gate. Tip: If you are flying back out on JetBlue, make sure you get dropped off at terminal C and not A or B. Don’t make the same mistake we did! 😉
Yes, they updated the airport. Last trip to Orlando in October i had no idea where I was. The gate didn't bring us to the huge main open area with the Disney stores, etc. Just very bright and white everywhere. And freezing. I was also on Jet Blue. I'm going to Disney in March, I can't wait!

Carlo loves adventures and he’s happy in all situations. He has such a great outlook on life.
I think we should take into account that he is on camera😂. You act grumpy when being filmed? So many UA-camrs I see make like they are the happiest people in the world then next video they come out and say, I have been suffering from depression for the past year. All I am trying to say is, you cannot know someone who films videos for a living. They have to act happy.

This was my husband, girls, & I in October running through the airport to get on our flight! We left two hours early & were heading to Florida. You used to be able to fly domestically & have plenty of time but I guess not anymore. 😆We almost missed our flight. So glad you guys had fun! ❤️❤️

Sarah!!!! I also have horrible flight anxiety. I get mortified that I can't just like LEAVE if I want to. I'm flying to FL from NY for the second time as an adult next month and this gave me hope :) I've only ever flown once before as an adult

Yes they added the C terminal wing last year, which is where jet blue is now :)
The Disney side is on the A terminal now. Universal theme is B terminal

Excellent resort choice. It's our personal fave (and we've ticked off some bucket-list monorail resorts). The down side is that Animal Kingdom Lodge is kind of removed from everything but Animal Kingdom. That means a longer bus ride to get where you're going most of the time. But the lush landscaping and theme-driven feel of escapism you get makes up for it. The only other resort I suspect that offers a similar feel is the Wilderness Lodge but we haven't stayed there yet. And they don't have animals to go say good morning and good night to as part of your stay.

I’m trying to learn more Spanish than I already know (because most of my boyfriends family speaks Spanish better, but have learned English over time), but I’ve been procrastinating for a while, but I’d also would like to be able to communicate with his grandparents and parents because they’re practically my family.

That's the new terminal C at the Orlando airport! I spent many hours there earlier this year trying to get a flight home on standby. My brother is a pilot for JetBlue based out of Boston and he flies to FL all the time. Hope you had a good flight with them!

YES Sarah - JetBlue uses a new Terminal C at Orlando Airport and it's super boring. I hate it too! I'm originally from Massachusetts now living in Florida - 45 minutes from Disney. So sorry I didn't bump into you there! Animal Kingdom Lodge is our favorite! Hope you had a great time!

hi! i never comment but i haven’t seen anyone answer you yet. i’m from orlando and they didn’t change the airport per say, they just recently opened terminal C (which looked to be the one you were in) to help with the influx of so many flights. the other two terminals still have the disney stores! sorry carlo didn’t get to experience it :( i’ve been watching you guys for ages now and this was such a fun surprise to see that you were so close to me😭😭 wish i could’ve met ya’ll!
the airport is still the same just that you entered in an area that doesnt have the theming. The main concourse is where the disney stores are.

1:45 JetBlue uses terminal C at the Orlando airport. That’s why you see it differently. Terminal C is a new terminal that opened Sept 2022.
You were in the new C terminal at Orlando International. That's why it looked different.
You definitely have to take him to the original park, which I am a passholder for
