    ▬ About MDT ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
MDT was born out of a single purpose: to provide better value and better accuracy for precision rifles. The first MDT chassis was developed from the ground up based on the needs of shooters.
Our engineers verified every function and feature based on the input from competitive shooters. The end result was a game-changing product called the TAC21 that continues to perform at the range, in the field and in competitions around the world.
Today, MDT chassis, magazines and accessories are still developed the same way.
We collaborate, question and verify our concepts with precision shooters from around the globe to ensure that every MDT product is designed with the same single purpose: to provide our customers with the absolute best product possible.

Is this still going to retail for $249.95 as announced at SHOT show? I appreciate the features, but that's a steep price point. I'll wait for a later generation that integrates the timer and the Send-It level into one product.

Agreed, they should combine it and integrate a larger lithium battery (I'd imagine if you had both combined it would be a pretty big drain)

@@Xiox321what post do you think is difficult or expensive about this glorified kitchen timer? This is 2005 technology at best (the battery is more compact than 2005 tech, but big whoop). the rotary button is pennies, the piezo speaker is fractions of a penny, the LCD is pennies, the battery is a few pennies, the case is a fraction of pennies and the MCU is a few pennies. Nothing here is expensive. You are literally paying for the screen printed label on the case, that's it.

@@Xiox321 yes, it is very much mass produced, and where else do you think these components come from? I'd even guess that the boards were manufactured in China, and unless they're going for a "assembled in usa" sticker on the box, the entire product was assembled and packaged for sale in China. literally what part of this glorified kitchen timer do you think is expensive to produce?

Low volume product. Aluminum machined. Purpose built and programmed. We wish we could make it much cheaper. The electronic components are not that expensive. The development and programming is, and the aluminum housing itself costs more than what you can buy a cheap Amazon timer for.
