If you guys are still in Germany, go to a grocery store and a bakery, and get all the nostalgic snacks and treats... so that you can do a taste test. I really want YB to taste Knoppers
LOL herbert's expression when yb abruptly switches from it's not spicy to oh it is while he goes from confident with his spoon to suddenly anxious with it hovering by his mouth XD XD 6:36
Warmed up leftover spicy sausage as a late breakfast, sat down to eat, opened UA-cam and BAM first suggestion was this video. Very weird, very cool coincidence 😂 usually I get fomo watching you guys eat certain foods but not this time!
Like Herbert, I grew up just eating things in my culture without questioning the names (to even barely knowing the names lmao) or knowing the main ingredients of the dish, but basically if it tastes good, then you eat it! hahahaah
Yeah I think it's the same in Italy, if you go to a butchery you usually just point what you want and the butcher gives it to you, but you really only know the names of the most common ones, or the general type lol
I'm half German and half Hungarian, so this series has been super fun for me. Grew up eating all the things YB is tasting in Germany and Hungary. Also love spicy ramen, so I'll definitely be using the promo code! Hahaha
Btw: The "salmonham" (Lachsschinken) is called like that because the part of the pig where the meat for the ham comes from is called "Schweinslachse". But i like the looks-like-salmon-version better. :D
To say that mini knacker is a snack for the go is such a german thing HAHA can't imagine any other country bringing these sausages as a snack to the theme park or smth
Actually we do it in Italy too, we have the very common "salamini" and also salami stick lol we don't bring it in situations like a theme park but it's common during picnics, hikes, aperitivo, house parties, etc.
When I was pregnant, I bought a really beautiful pound of ground beef, and it looked AMAZING. The perfect red. Speckled with just the right amount of fat. So fresh. I desperately wanted to eat it raw. I even took off the plastic wrapping and smelled it. But decided to retain my sanity and not eat raw burger. So watching you spread that raw pork on bread....mmmmmm...salivating.
Thanks for the yami link. The nearest Korean-Asian market near me is about 45 miles away. I love going there because they’re SO friendly and I love to support them but they don’t carry everything that I sometimes need. So this was a cool alternative. First time a sponsored ad actually was something I looked into
@@YBChangOfficial so I did my first order like 2-3 days ago and got it today. They packed it SO WELL I was so impressed. Thanks again for the recommendation
I love leberwurst!!! When we used to visit my Oma and Opa, we always had some leberwurst with rye toast with our breakfast, or as an early morning snack. :)
That's so much meat, the salami would look great in a charcuterie board. I think this is the first time I've heard YB saying she didn't like something. The only thing that I could never eat is the raw pork meat, I feel like my brain wouldn't allow me. I can't also eat the meat tartare with raw egg.
I love Salami so much. You need to make Salami roll ups. It's Salami and you put a sliver of cream cheese in it and you roll it. I love sausage. I live and grew up in Cincinnati , Ohio. Very German city so we have many German foods here. I love sausage with sauerkraut in the crock pot.
Respect for trying the raw pork meat („Mett“), I absolutely hate it. I love the Leberwurst (we call it Streichwurst because you smear it on bread). It tastes similar to pâté but has a very creamy texture. It’s great on bread with boiled egg and pickles 😋 Hope you had a great time in Germany :)
Ahh I love German Sausages, so good. My fav has to be Brătwurst. I miss buying them from the market. The meats that you & Herbert had are perfect meat to be added to the Charcuterie Board. And I shouldn't have listened to you to search for 'hackepeter', most look ok but def not the one in the shape if a face, eek *shivers*. Reminds me of the movie Face Off.
For German folks: Is it safe to eat that raw ground meat? Is it completely raw or cured? Just wondering--besides sashimi and carpaccio, I haven't seen this before!
Yeah, it's the same with tartare. There is always a risk of foodborne illness when eating raw meat, but I mean, same goes for any food. If you eat high quality meat in small portions you should be fine, it's like eating your steak rare
I love these kinds of videos but somebody really needs to develop a microphone that doesn't pick up all the noisy chewing sounds and stuff. It's horrifying lol
I know that sounds awful and I don't mean it to be offensive, I just have really severe sensory issues so I have these videos on silence with subtitles
Loved how YB was the one who was making all the sausage jokes and Herbert is all calm and composed.
Yup, coz he feels responsible for his sausages! 🤣
@@DuckieM 🤣🤣

Ritter Sport chocolates are quite good too
I've tried them!! So much chocolate here 🤣

haha what a coincidence!!
I think Herbert was well behaved because he is at his Mom's house! ha ha. I agree I love the harder sausages - total texture thing.
hahaha true!

they really were good! haha

I would love to see an updated exercise routine from you all! I am a runner so I love watching those weirdly. Also, more Louie and the cats!!
These videos are making me want to go back to Germany 🥺🖤❤️💛 I love your videos YB and Herbert! They are so comforting to me, I watch them while I eat!
Germany = sausage paradise 😍 thx for sharing ❤️😊
loved them!!
To say that mini knacker is a snack for the go is such a german thing HAHA can't imagine any other country bringing these sausages as a snack to the theme park or smth
I dunno...I see many a Slim Jim munched on. I'm sure the sausages would be beyond better!
Actually we do it in Italy too, we have the very common "salamini" and also salami stick lol we don't bring it in situations like a theme park but it's common during picnics, hikes, aperitivo, house parties, etc.
in Korea we have snack sausages too! very different though haha

My Grandmother used to eat high quality ground hamburger raw. She would put salt and pepper on it.
ahh that would be the hardest thing during pregnancy!!
Coincidentally pregnant women are the only ones barred from eating Mett/ Hackepeter for safety concerns

I’m so glad my pizza just got done because watching this made me so hungry!! 🤤😋
Yummmm!
Love to see Schmalkalden in a video lol my great-grandma lived there until not so long ago
omg!! I feel bad for not liking the sausage 🥲
@@YBChangOfficial It's not everyone's thing, I don't like most of it either
I love the head cheese & blood sausage
yum!!
😆 🤣 Love the sausages 😋: small, medium, and large 😆 🤣 😂 😹 😆 looks all delicious!
hehe 🤣
I love leberwurst!!! When we used to visit my Oma and Opa, we always had some leberwurst with rye toast with our breakfast, or as an early morning snack. :)
😍😍
this was super fun and informative! my only sausage knowledge is canned vienna sausages (such a sophisticated palette, I know)
haha I was the same before! :P
My sister in law's family is from Germany and they would bring authentic sausage from there and it's so good 😊❤️
yesss!
you're a sweetheart YB.
thank you 🥰
I want to try all the sausages if i go to germany someday. All of these look so good
Definitely recommend!!

🤣I surprisingly loved it, craving it now from LA! I had a great time 🥰
All air dried salamis are raw meat. Air dried ham like Prosciutto is raw meat.
Stop making this such a thing, it's ridiculous.
@@miskatonic6210 Yes, they are all raw but also processed. Mett on the other hand is not cured/dried so there is a difference
This video is reminding me of the bag of salami and single sausage I have in my fridge.
as a German viewer whose grandparents live 45 minutes from Schmalkalden, it was so funny to see the last videos.
hahah do they like the regional sausages? 🤣

LOL RIGHT! that one was so scary
For German folks: Is it safe to eat that raw ground meat? Is it completely raw or cured? Just wondering--besides sashimi and carpaccio, I haven't seen this before!
Yes, it is completely safe. You eat at breakfast with salt, pepper and onions! It’s DELICIOUS!
As far as I'm aware it's usually cured in some way, so completely safe
Yeah, it's the same with tartare. There is always a risk of foodborne illness when eating raw meat, but I mean, same goes for any food. If you eat high quality meat in small portions you should be fine, it's like eating your steak rare
It was really good!! craving it now 😍
Omg it's my dream to eat this!! Trying to stay healthy and on a diet though🤭
hehe cheat day!
In the Netherlands we usually call it "Filet Americain", basically just steak tartare. Why do we call it that? I don't have the slightest... XD
Yay I love your videos YB!
Thank you!! 🥰
Great trip
I feel responsible for my sausages 😂😂
🤣🤣
Hey 👋! Have an amazing day!
you too!!
if your in germany you gotta get some good doner
we did!! sooo good
YB has been working for the TryGuys for too long that she HAD to make the wiener and poop jokes ahahaha
🤣
I ❤️Herbert!!
🥰🥰
oh jesus.. mett on bread instead of bread rolls and without any onions at all.. this has to be one of the saddest things i have ever seen...
This is making me so hungry especially during my interminent fast😭
❤️❤️❤️
Herbert looks like John Cena....
LOL he got that a few times
When you tell us you bought "all the sausages" and there's obviously many more kinds of sausages at the shop 🙄
painful PPL ㅠㅠ
