i just jumped on this video when i saw the word "orchid"... i usally wait on weekends to watch your post because they are sooooo relaxing and i love your garden. Thank you for sharing
When you see such beautiful Orchids, you think it is Gods Creation.! These Borneo sorrounding small islands are treasure trove of outstanding Orchids.! I wish I should have been honey suckle hovering around them endlessly.!
Oh my GOODNESS!!! Thank you so much for taking us on this tour!! I love orchids and collect them as well as other tropicals. This was so amazing. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Ooh I wanted to see more😍 I love getting orchid mounting ideas and seeing the different ways they're mounted here at the Kuching Orchid Park is inspiring. Would love to visit here...15.4 acres of orchids!! Amazing!!
I have seen Dancing Lady in the plant shops and something similar growing on the larger fruit trees where I live. Orchids grow well here in Trinidad & Tobago because of the humidity and some ppl keep them indoors, and the air conditioning will help if they need cooler temps. Our average temps are 30-35 degrees Celsius. Love from T&T!
Thank you so much for sharing your visit to the Orchid Park. I've never seen orchids growing on the ground. My next challenge is actually "growing orchid on trees (Frangipani)" in my garden. I shall tie them up tightly this time as I did gently with coconut strings last year and all fell off.
Ow i saw the cotton tree, we made it to a pillows when i was a child..it reminds me of my lola..the orchids are my favorites too...thank you for sharing
Great video .... Personally I am not a great fan of orchid. But this park is very beautiful and splendid. Love this. 😍😍😍 And I am just amazed that the park is for educating plant lovers and plant dummies . Please convey love to the Orchid Park tooo🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Sou apaixonado por esse País Borneo por causa da preservação de sua fauna e flora, e um dia espero conhecer. Esse vídeo ficou maravilhoso. Parabéns ! (Eu sou do Brasil)

Hi Irene...ive watch ..i think 3 of your vlogs...and decide i need to subscribe...so here i am your new subscriber...its amazing..im in awe...gosh those plants/flowers that you are sharing are so wonderful..i loved it so much...and i love orchids...this is paradise...actually im speechless..and im so happy ive found "LEAFING AROUND"...such a joy...🌺🌺🌺
Orchids originates from jungles, they were stolen from the jungles and propagated in labs, even cris-cross them and then distributed to outlets. As such these became indoor plants. In the jungles orchids feed on the moisture from the giant tree trunks when it rains. Rare orchids can also be found up in the snowy Himalayan mountains.
I think we can say that to pretty much all plants that are available for sale today....there were all gathered from the forests/nature at one point in time. I shall look up Himalayan orchids!
There is a bit of wrong info. Dancing lady orchids are not native to Sarawak, Borneo. The entire Oncidium (dancing lady) family of orchids originates from the Americas
Enjoyed the tour. I love your channel but may I recommend you please stop wearing masks especially outside. It’s hard for me and probably other people hard of hearing to hear you talking. Plus honestly the risk outside is 0 for spreading a virus. Thanks keep up the great videos
Thanks Wesley! Actually here in Malaysia, if we don't wear mask in public places, it violates the law and we can get arrested and fined... And so this park is a public space. But in a private garden, with the permission and comfort of the home owner, we can do without. I'd be requesting this for the next few videos I do since I am having Covid and should be free from it for the next 3 to 6 months!🥳
@@leafing.around Thanks for your kind response. I understand laws and mandates. Here in US it varies from state to state and public places. Sorry you are sick with COVID and wish you well with healing. Did not realize you could contract and have the disease for 3-6 months sorry to hear that for you. Will pray for your healing. Btw I live in Gulf of Mexico in Pensacola Florida zone 9
@@wesleyhackney ah I meant since I have it now, I should be pretty immune and will not get it again for next 3 to 6 months! Am feeling quite positive about being positive 😄

8:4 sec time what is the name of that orchid that stick in wood? help me pleae?
The voice over and music not well blend. Sorry it distracted. BTW, you got content. All the best.
The orchid farm is too vast 15 hectares. I love orchids but I can't afford the price.
There is a bit of wrong info. Dancing lady orchids are not native to Sarawak, Borneo. The entire Oncidium (dancing lady) family of orchids originates from the Americas
Thanks for pointing this out to us!😀
Hello
15:22 it's a vanda specie not a hybrid it's native to the Philippines.
Get your beautiful orchid prints here: beautifulnatureprints.com/art/beautiful+orchids
Disclaimer/warning: If you live in e.g. Norway, don`t plant your Orchids outside.
At least not these tropical ones ;)
Is your videographer Filipino?
It's called Dancing Dolls, not Dancing Lady.
I know you didn’t damage any plants, but I would be very nervous by the way you touch the plants if I am the owner. Could be more gentle.

It is NOT clear what this lady is saying.
The guide really does not know what she is talking about!!!!
It’s difficult to understand with the masks on.😉
Please take off the masks... only makes it impossible to listen
this would be easy to understand if you two dident wear masks hard to understand the voice trough a mask
