who do you have in your top ten
Wilt , Kareem, Dream. Old Kareem avg 35 points first 8 games against Dream. Media not kind to Kareem
Top 3 all time scoring rebounds and blocks. 10 finals 6 rings. Last ring 41 years old. Last finals MVP 38 years old. 6 MVP awards. 2 scoring titles. 2 times blocks leader . Look it up. To much to list. Akeem most skilled. Sky hook most unstoppable shot ever. Boring 6 rings 6 MVP
The Rockets always faired well against the Bulls. I think they could have beaten the Bulls at least once. What could have been. Jordan feared Hakeem. The Bulls had no one who could stop him.
Jordan respected him, didn’t fear him. And I loved how Jordan would shrug off the regular season and itch to meet an opponent that was successful against him during the regular season in the playoffs. But Hakeem is the best center I’ve ever seen.
@@spitnificent OK, fear perhaps is a strong word, however, he is noted as saying “it’s a good thing the BIG MAN can’t get out of the west”. Nobody on the Bulls could stop Hakeem. One thing I hope we can agree on is it would have been a really good series. I don’t think the Bulls would have demolished the Rockets as some think. Jordan and Hakeem were both truly unstoppable players, and great in all aspects in the game of basketball. The series could have gone either way. The Rockets had a better starting 5, while the Bulls had the better 1-2 punch.
At least once nah more like 2 or maybe 3
@spitnificent jordan did in fact feared him
There has never been a center that can guard him. That person doesn't exist. You double, he can still defeat it. You have no chance against the Dream.
Hakeem is better defensive player than Jordan Shaq , Robinson Ewing Malone Barclay Duncan Koby LeBron Steph Durant and all the players right now
Imagine Jordan and The Dream on the same team,…Jordan would have had 10 rings.
Top 15🙄😂
Hakeem IS/WAS better than Shaq
Hakeem led a 6th seed team to a championship all series the Rockets didn't have home court advantage Jordan Shaq Koby LeBron Steph didn't do that
Cmon man your indecisive, olajuwon dominated, olajuwon never got credit where credit is due, hakeem is the man bottom line
Hakeem was better than Jordan. Michael Jordan would have never won 2 titles with that Rockets team just imagine Hakeem with prime Pippin Grant and Tony K. He would have won 6 too
Love the Dream but Bird would pass the ball between his legs and make him so mad.
liar!
Hakeem was a rookie, who was still learning the game. After a season, he outplayed those HOF talents, and outscored Bird when they met. He just had no team around him. 3 crackheads suspended, and Ralph's knees gave out. He lost all 4 starters on his team.
The intangibles are too many here ...hmmm where do you start here ... ???
Definitely top 10 player of all time
Top 3 big men of all time behind only Kareem and Wilt
Best best 2 way player of all time tied with MJ at 1st { 2 quadruple doubles out of 4 ever recorded}
Best post player of all time
Best defender of all time { He has the defensive trophy in his name}
Best shot blocker of all time
One of the best NBA patented signature moves
Most skillful and talented big man of all time
Facts!! Well said! I agree with many points
Best center in league history and owned MJ too Jordan feared Hakeem
Fear is a stretch. He respected him. Mj didn’t fear anyone
Bulls office used to harass MJ about Hakeem outplaying him in the head to heads. It was said MJ always looked forward to playing Houston in the 90s, because Dream was the only 1 he viewed as an equal talent on the court.
Hakeem Jordon and Drexler were almost on the same Rockets team
MJ respected him, never feared him. Best believe MJ didn’t mind meeting Olajuwon in the playoffs.
I wouldn't say almost all on the same team but easily could have been. Rockets could have just drafted Clyde which they should have. To get Jordan they could have traded Sampson to the Bulls and drafted Jordan. Centers and bigs were viewed more highly than guards at that time so the Bulls would have certainly made that trade.@@cavitycreep
