Thank you both. What a beautiful place to live. I grew up in Eureka California. We wre surrounded by the great and beautiful Redwood trees. I worked on a 40 foot commercial boat. We would fish for salmon during spring.when the weather warmed and the warm current would come closer (within 100 miles) we would fish for albacore tuna. During we would fish for Dungeness crabs. That was 50 years ago. We also had a beautiful marina. Believe it not we also trains. What a place to grow up.Thank you for sharing all this. .May God bless both of you
I think we're all quite happy watching you two enjoying life. And I doubt we'll ever get tired of it, so just keep trudging along, making these sacrifices for all of us. 😂😂😂
How can we ever get fed up with you and SB2 nick, its a different day and a different experience to enjoy with you and marianne, fed up never! I look forward to seeing what you get up to on the English Riviera throughout the summer!
No words needed when you came out of the Dart! It speaks for itself 😁 I often poodle up and down the Dart in my little dingy and never tire of it. Lovely video 👍
Absolutely lovely!! Day 2 did not disappoint!! Thank you Nick and Marianne!! I love the interactions between the two of you ❤️ My wife and I are now talking about a charter on Lake Michigan near South Haven. You guys are our inspiration. 👍❤️
Lovely video Nick and Marianne. Enjoyed seeing the town from that water. Looks inviting like you want to go up and enjoy a waters edge cafe. Gives us all a better sense of your lovely UK. Your Fan, Mark from NorCal
how nice to sit here in wintertime watching this series. And brilliant idea not to add music while cruising. Really nice to able to hear the engine and the water splashes. Thank you.. Now I am just waiting for spring to get my own boat back in the water.
Thank you Marianne and Nickt for day 2 with a nice viewing on the river Dart also nice that tell us about all those diffrence boats types and Princesses i can hardly wait what you 2 have in stock tomorrow on part 3 thank you again
Idyllic, thought provoking video. I put my headphones on...and I am there with you. Haven't been out very much in the last eighteen months. Your serene views are a sight to behold. Brings so much pleasure to my wife and I. Thank you for sharing.
Hi Nick, thanks for your compliments re our beloved Princess 435 “SAMAIN” berthed at Noss. She is of 1991 vintage but still provides great accommodation and performance and a testament to Princess build quality.
Hey, fantastic! Love the 435. Would love to do a yacht tour or Meet The Owner of it if you were interested. If you Google my name you'll find my web site - drop me a line through that if you are :)
It’s nice to see videos that show the UK is a beautiful country. I love getting out on the Yamaha SVHO and soaking up the scenery. Your videos are responsible for pushing me into the Yacht world. Keep them coming and keep up the good work 👍🏻
WOW ! What a beautiful day . Loved seeing all the boats, scenic houses & castle on the banks . Thank you Nick for an amazing video & visual experience . Mark (Toronto)💦💦💦
And the perfect weekend continues. So envious as I sit here in Melbourne's coldest day of the year so far. Ah well, F1 from Austria to watch (qualy tonight, race tomorrow) and of course I hope First Swim Weekend 3.
Hi Nick and Marianne. What another stunning day on SB2. Fantastic scenery, calm waters, plenty of house and boat spotting. Beautiful paddle steamer. With so many Princess's and the Queen at the helm, that makes you a King. Awesome video thanks 😊
How could you ever say that all this is boring and mundane, it's absolutely beautiful and you're lucky to have it all on your own doorstep nick, I am so envious of your good fortune!
Beautiful Nick. The Dart takes a lot of beating in my opinion. I know I do go on about them, but I saw a couple of Flemings in the video....my they look classy! This is a great idea Nick.....you should do Falmouth, Fowey, Salcombe and Helford river too.
Hi , you could not have timed that better , house for sale the steam train going by , plus you two and the boat and the ferry . A nice calm trip and setting the scene for the season . Thanks for the video , stay safe .
Excellent cruise, heard of it, never been looks an amazing part of the country and you just say it as you see it.. the scenery does the rest, great stuff! Look forward to seeing another one soon👍
April fools 2022 video idea: Aquaholic style tour of either a huge warship or a cruise liner. Just an absolutely ridiculous 3 hour tour opening all sorts of random compartments and commenting that the 50,000hp engines are easily accessible and the engine room is standing height with plenty of room. It would me amazing. And as always, lead with the price in the title. Looks like you had a beautiful day! Thanks for sharing. Cheers!
So, Sir Nick, we're only on day 2 of the 3 day video, but I must comment. You capture so much beauty on your videos. This is humbling, informative/educational, some laughs; just stunning. This is like a boating enthusiasts short film. The quality of your filming is also top notch. I just can't thank you enough for these videos; from both of you. Cheers, Jeff from Pennsylvania. 🇬🇧🇺🇸
What a beatiful area, captured in another great video from Nick & Marianne. Love to see them and wish you a great and restful rest of the day! Greetz from Germany!
Just spotted ourselves with my mum sat on the back at 17:05 on the raft! I was keeping an eye out the whole weekend, and you only go and drive right by while I'm off in the tender!!
There is something very peaceful just pottering up a river or lake looking back from the water to the land, that’s close by, especially with a blue sky above you. What a lovely lovely area, and awesome way to spend a weekend on the water. Nice one Nick 😎✌🏻Again thanks for sharing this with us all.
I originally come from Dartmouth, Nova Scotia in Canada and thanks to this video I have a chance to finally see our namesake. Looks lovely. I see alot of similarities with towns on both sides of the water but the Devon version is definately more picturesque 😁
Absolutely stunning the quality of the video via your GoPro is amazing , you can see the shear delete on both your faces . I’m confident that in the years ahead people will watch your videos and think those where the days , Bless you both and as always wishing good weather and calm seas . 😀👍👍👍
Absolutely stunning video's. Its like youre on holiday, just miles away from home. What a great and beautiful area 😍😍 Thanks for sharing your weekend with us. I love these video's 👍 Greetings from the Netherlands 👋🏻
Thanks nick, great video. I keep my rib on the dart at blackness and never tire of navigating the river or the coast. Had lunch at Tuckenhay today and went to sabbacombe yesterday, albeit the weather wasn’t quite as good as your trip !!
I love the way that the Dart just seems to vanish the further you sail from it - if it wasn't for the charts you could miss it. You had a great weekend for this jaunt.
Another beautiful video displaying the River Dart at its best. I was just hoping to see if the remaining Western Lady from my childhood was still afloat, probably beyond renovation now. Memories of being at the helm of the high ferry as a young child came flooding back haha. Loving the videos, what a fabulous place Torbay is.
@@AQUAHOLIC At least one was saved, hoping to visit her soon in Portsmouth. Last time I visited "Greenways" I did suggest they topped the trees to restore the view that Agatha Christie would have had of the river. The trees won of course. LOL
The UK at its very best
Thanks 👍

Glad you enjoyed it
Yep, that steam train made it perfect.
Wow indeed Nick Sir it's stunning view.. Great to experience your weekend... Just great..
Absolutely beautiful. Thank you.
Happy memories of a family trip on the River Dart, staying in Kingswear on holiday. A lovely place.
Love it when you just let us follow everything without cutting too much. Full hour tour along the river with all houses would be a real treat !
Hello Nick & Marianne. Have a safe blessed day! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

Spent many happy hours on the River Dart as a Midshipman from BRNC in 1991. Good to see the river again. Great channel Nick. Many thanks.

Just stunning scenery. As a contrast to punch 1 knot of tide up the Dart, in the Bristol Channel you'd be punching 5-6 knots of tide.
