    I’ve noticed that Morai watches over Vader as well as Ashoka

    • @StarWarsTransmissions

      Do you recall where you've seen her watching over Vader? The only episode I can think of that they both appeared in is Twilight of the Apprentice.

      @@StarWarsTransmissions At the end of that episode, Morai watches over Vader limping away instead of Ahsoka entering the cave.
      As Luke proves later, there is still good in Vader. Perhaps Morai observes Vader because of that.
      The framing of that sequence with Vader holding a blue lightsaber while Morai circles over him seem to reference Anakin and his connection to the light side of the force. Still present in Vader?

    With the daughter giving her life force to Ahsoka and Anakin assisting in this feat, surely he should have realised he already knew and had the power to save the ones he loved...from death??

      You could say that. Although, that was with the help of The Father while on Mortis, which amplified Anakin's strength in the force.

      @@StarWarsTransmissions yes but had he stayed he never would have killed Padme or turned on Obi-Wan. Also not to mention he was still young and given training from the Father I'm sure Anakin would have grown extremely strong, significantly stronger than he was as Vader.

      This is nonsense. There is zero mention of Morai in the entirety of Clone Wars. The fact that Rebels episodes pre ran the Clone Wars series finale doesn't imbue Darth Vader with knowledge of an association that simply doesn't exist in the Clone Wars timeline. If you were watching both series in order & saw the bird flying over the wreck of the Venator, you'd think it was just a bird because the association of the bird, now named Morai, doesn't happen till the episode The mystery of Chopper Base, S2 E20, of Rebels.
      So no, Darth Vader didn't associate the convor with Ahsoka at the wreck of the Venator.

    I think the Morai reminds vader of what the son predicted in the mortis arc showing how he failed as the father wiped anakins mind and this may bring that memory back

  • @braveboy1

    That one is a hard one for vader! The Sister that is representing the light side is just giving him a sign or a clue that Vader you where the chosen one to set balanse to the force but you messed up everything, and you lost everything by turning to the dark side.

  • @NorthernNomad93

    Anakin knew Morai and Ahsoka were connected after the incident on Mortis so I'm sure Vader seeing Morai he must have known that she in fact did survive. The ending scene where he picks up her saber I believe was meant to make us believe that he thought she was dead but once he saw Morai he knew otherwise.

    could it mean the opposite? him seeing Morai mean he knows she's still alive and thats why he says "it was foretold we would meet here" (or something like that) when they meet again in Rebels

      The reason why he knew Ahsoka was still alive is, because in one of the Vader comics I think he had a bunch of visions

    • @xemi2087
      @xemi2087 Рік тому

      @@bluebird5956 Yea, that and in Rebels when he and Ahsoka felt each other he said "So the apprentice lives", indicating he *did* believe she was dead for some time but the visions made him question it (since he said it in a way it felt rather like it was a confirmation of what he expected). So I definitely think at the end of The Clone Wars, he thought she was dead. There's no debate for me.

    • @StarWarsTransmissions

      Morai is on top of some sort of structure that's on the surface of the planet. She watches Vader leave and then dives into the wreckage of the Sith Temple and flies towards Ahsoka. If I remember correctly, I think Dave Filoni said something about Morai acting as a guide for Ahsoka from that point, but I could be wrong.

    • @StarWarsTransmissions
      @StarWarsTransmissions  3 роки тому +4

      That seems kind of unlikely to me, since their duel on Malachor would've been roughly 10-15 years later. I always assumed Sidious told Vader he saw through the force that Ahsoka would be at the Sith temple on Malachor.
