Every so often I come back to this video, it's absolutely glorious. There are so many sounds and notes and subtleties going on in 3 and 1/2 minutes it's incredible. Well done Roy, would have loved to have been in that bar.
Just started listening to Roy about 3 months ago. I'd heard his name .....I know he was before the greats of the 60s and 70s that all gave him props. But man.....he's the best guitarist 🎸🎸🎸 I've seen in my 64 years. You can see watching Jeff Beck play that he copied Roy's techniques on tone and volume controls. Roy plays so effortlessly it's like he was born to do this. Perfection. I dare say he makes even Hendrix look mediocre. I'm glad I found him on You Tube. Now to find any albums.....
Hung in his jail cell. That's not a good way to go. As an ex lifer myself. It happens ..seen a few guys hang themselves. You just pass out. Peaceful..no choking. You cut off your blood flow and fall asleep. But ...he had 7 kids a wife ..family.....I tend to doubt he just decided to check out

@BobDaniel56 looks like the old Kramer headstocks from the early 80s but I dont know when RB died so I could be wrong.
That doesn't look like a telecaster neck on Roy's guitar. Anyone know what it is?
